Lookin for a USB extender for my PVR | Forums

Ok so as well as some of you know, i have an HP PVR. I am hindered by the 4 foot cable it came with. My desk is set up about 10-12 feet away from my tv and i hate having to move stuff around to record it.

Ive been lookin around for a USB extender, not just a 20 ft cable since it would not hook up to the back of my pvr. I need to use the 4 ft cable and plug it into a 20 ft or whatever extender to hook it up to my computer but no luck searchin online. Does anyone know where i can order or pick one up? Cost is not an issue. Highly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you need.

But (if I am right) you could use a 20ft cable and a male to female adapter to use it as an extension cable. You would end up with something like this.

I actually just now placed an order for one since I am sick of moving my Laptop back and forth to make videos.

Its really cheap...makes me suspectible of the quality. I looked at the review and there were alot of 5 star as well as 1 star. Think i might wait and see how you like it.

I have ordered 3 dollar HDMI cables (like 4 of them so far) and Ethernet cables (100 footer!) from Amazon before. I always get the cheapest one and I have yet to be dissapointed.

Just got one too. They mark up cables like nobody's business, it's all marketing.

Dont get me wrong, i love Amazon, shop there sometimes. But i read most of the reviews and they were all basically 'you get what you pay for'. None of them said anything about hookin it up with a pvr so ill leave that one up in the air...for now.

I got the cable and have used it. It all works great.
