    Some editor quirks..

Been wondering about these things since I got familiar with the editor.

    1) Colorization
This is a very cool option for some objects. However, sometimes it doesn't work. Metal ramps have two colorization options and the most important one can't be changed, only the edges can. Same thing with some of the Wide ramps. Only the numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) change, but all wide ramps do not have numbers but still have the colorization feature. I believe there are more objects that have this little quirk but these were the ones I could think of.

Related to the above is that "Randomize color" doesn't work on all objects. Bottom Support (under Fire escape) comes to mind, and I know there are more objects like this.

Also, the fire escape parts can only be colorized on the underparts. Seems like a waste as you rarely drive under them..

    2) Objects appear more than once
Wooden Crate comes in 3 different variations. However 1 and 3 appear to be the same. Most Metal plates also have this, where 2 and 3 are the same. What happened here? Metal plates are some of my favorite and most used objects, so if I'm being robbed of a third metal plate I'd like to have it! Otherwise the third one should just be scrapped.

    3) Sizes
It seems to me many objects have greatly differing sizes. The gap between small and medium is sometimes incredibly big. Look at logs for example. The small log is indeed small, but the medium one should imo be cut in half; it's incredibly big. The small one is 1/4th of the medium log's size. Yeah no biggie, just add small ones until you reach the length you want, but still..

    4) Misplaced items
This isn't very important cause after a little while you know where to find the stuff, but I just found it funny that objects like a Chromeball, a Metal sphere, a Grand piano and a UFO (LOL) are categorized under "Small items".

Well that's all my concerns. Bye.

I have noticed these things over time but never seen them typed up it does raise questions.. How about when youre modifying your bike in the garage things seem a tiny bit out of place there, certain highlighted pieces are wrong, or not there at all.. My guess is a deadline. Most games have set a deadline, but its funny right.. Set deadline games you would think were ready to go and would be organized ahead of time but ive noticed most slip through the cracks, too much to do before you know it you get the game and recieve tiny updates/patches later.

The randomize color option only SLIGHTLY changes the color. Hard to notice sometimes.

The duplicate wood crate acts differently. It's lid falls off whereas believe) the first one's does not.

The metal plates are not the same. Change the variation and rotate to see that 1 is bare, 2 has one side covered, and 3 has both sides covered.

    I agree about the rest.

the texture decals (terrain modifications) are way off the mark with their naming aswell
in case you havent noticed them, these are in order as they appear in the object properties list:

    asphalt mossy
    asphalt 6
    asphalt 5
    concrete 3
    concrete 2
    concrete 1
    dirt 2
    dirt 3
    dirt 4
    floor tiles 3
    floor tiles 4
    floor tiles 5
    forest 1
    forest 4
    forest 5
    grass 2
    grass 4
    grass 5
    gravel 1
    gravel 3
    rubble group 1
    gravel (continued) 5
    sand 1
    sand 2
    sand 3
    sand 5

it really doesnt matter but not one of them is right

i have noticed that when a colour doesn't work inside the object properties, applying a colour event does, at least with some, not tested with all.

    Re: Some editor quirks..

A few other things I've noticed:

    1. As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to make a skill game last longer than 30 minutes. For me this is a HUGE concern, as while the level I'm building could possibly be beaten in about 25 minutes. Slower players won't even get to the end in time, and I doubt they'd want to start all over again. I don't care about the leaderboard times if that's the issue, disable them if need be (or just have it stop counting at 30 minutes), I just want to be able to build the level.

    2. It's not possible to disable the B button for skill games, meaning that if somebody accidentally presses it, the game restarts as my game doesn't use the typical in-game checkpoints.

3, Not sure why, but some of the button triggers seem to have been combined, like RT and A, or LT and X, restricting the buttons available.
