But I dont see why I should accept bashing of my track just for it not being "True" ninja.

Ok what is wrong with it? ill be mature and open minded about any criticism if that is how you behave when giving feedback yourself.

You shouldn't change your behavior based on another's.

True, but I just lose it when I get trolled so I troll back... say, have you even played either track?

How come you have a Limbo track in THD? Did RL honour you by making their own version for Evo?

Also Buttcheek, by praising my Alien abduction track you are also praising my Pirate version, since I cut the alien abduction from the pirate one and made it easier for for people like you.

I played Infiltrator (or whatever it is exactly) and I agreed with most of the feedback you got on it.

Cuz I made a Limbo track I have no clue if RL even know that track exists.

Just played Abduction. Neat idea. Alien silhouette looks sweet! But the parts when you get shot at and the gyroscope thing make it more extreme. The camera for the vat of green stuff near the beginning should have been tied to an event so it only changed if you fell in. It made that part harder than it really was. Same with the UFO that shoots at you. Made getting over that rock harder. I get that there was no easy way to do that one though. I don't even know what the heck was going on while flying the UFO. Did I have full control, or just throttle? Going downhill fast then suddenly hit an obstacle that slows you down feels a bit jarring. Kinds like you weren't sure whether to make it a fast track or technical. It wasn't all dislikes for me. If it got no comment, it wasn't bad. I personally think negative comments are better than positive ones since they alert you to how you can improve. All in all you seem to be getting better with the editor.

Yeah you all bash my tracks but I know you like em really. I could have avoided most negative feedback by just not using the ninja tag. The infiltrator one did have sum bad cameras though but they were fixed in the second version.

Dont expect my style to change though they will always be very long tracks.

Waiting for DLC if im gonna make another.

Did you get the Roswell back story? It was YOU, the player, who crashed that day. You are a time traveller in the "pirate" version and create a paradox.

I can't believe I'm playing another one of your tracks...but here we go.

I'm literally going to go through my thought process at each point in the track on my first go to give you what goes through my head and to see if you can understand better what my opinions will be.

1st checkpoint: "I'm a ball. I thought this was a ninja track not a skill game...I can't gas?...what the heck is going on...my bike just sprouted a rocket. Is this a gimmick track? Wait..now it seems like it's back to normal. Oh, my favorite obstacle! A high-speed section followed by a small bump that makes you flip over! That's quite the original obstacle for a ninja course. And what's this? An incline made of all of the same object? Pretty ingenious if you ask me. At least it's somewhat like a ninja obstacle, unlike the first 15-20 seconds of the course. Moving on..."

2nd checkpoint: "I can't even tell what I'm supposed to hit...A driveline made up of different obstacles than the scenery would be a nice change of pace. Ok...I think I get it now...alright. Got passed the water part...and...more inclines made of the same exact obstacle. Fun. More inclines...and a plank! A new object! Well done. But certainly seen before. Alright...that wasn't too bad..."

3rd: "But now there's a hole in the ground and an explosive right after the hole. I'm assuming I go down the hole?...nope...instant fault. Ok...time to go over the hole this time. Got it. And..an awkward bumpy section with railroad tracks and large part that is completely blocked by rocks. Awesome. I love poorly designed foreground. And then we have railroad tracks with holes in them. A valid obstacle...faulted once, finished the next time. But why did I have to do a really easy part just to get to a harder part? That was poor checkpoint placement. I guess I just jump over this other set of tracks? Ok...seems alright."

4th: "Another steep incline. The uniqueness in this track is incredible. Alright...made it up top and...there's a giant cart coming at me. So much for not having some uniqueness... . Well, that thing just destroyed me...perhaps a bunny hop would would work? Fail 1...Fail 2...what about falling backwards to avoid it?...Success! Ugh...more randomly bumpy parts that you can't see what's part of the driving line. Awesome. Let's just take it slow..and now a jump over some explosives. Another valid obstacle...well done, but not sure if there was another checkpoint somewhere...if not...that's very poor placement."

5th: "Some more rocks, it seems I have to jump to each one...pretty cool obstacle...wait, am I supposed to go under the third one? Maybe...well, I made it over. I think you can do either. Cool multiple route section."

6th: "Seems to be a fairly regular technique to pass this obstacle. Kind of fun. Passed it...TNT! It must be the end! *Rams into wall* Oh...guess not. And of course he forces us to do a technique that we clearly were already able to do. Horrible checkpoint placement. One obstacle. One checkpoint. And of course I'm failing this 10 more times...let's take it slow. Got it..now what to do with this TNT? Back up and let's wait it out...easy enough. What the..my rider is frozen! Oh..there's a UFO in the background...kind of unnecessary to freeze my rider, though."

7th: "*flies way over checkpoint* Whoops...let's try this again. Back wheel hop? Got it! That was decently fun, although the camera angle kind of made it harder than it needed to be. "

8th. "Whoops, messed up pretty bad the first time...and second...and third...got it! Let's just hop over these boxes..and..WHOA LOG. Bunny hop! Phew! Passed it."

9 -11?: "Passed these checkpoints with relative ease. Nothing good or bad really stood out to me."

12: "Man, nothing better than a pan out of the obstacle I'm about to go conquer. And...I can't even see my rider for the first ramp. There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to see my rider. Finally beat it. Decent obstacle, but there's just no need for that stupid blind part."

The rest of the track I already played because its the same as your hard track. Kinda weird overall. But decent I guess.

First things first. Don't take the word "gimmick" as an insult. Some gimmick tracks are tons of fun. But they're generally only fun for a run or two and then they lose their appeal because they generally just aren't fun to try and get 0 faults and/or speedrun. Gimmick is just a term used to describe a track meant for a crazy cool theme or some unique fun aspect and somewhat ignore a great driveline or legitimate obstacles.

I'd give the overall track 3*. You just need to make the decision that your track is going to be either a complete gimmick ninja or a complete trials ninja. Half of your obstacles give off that "This is really cool/funny!" vibe and the other half are "This is a good, challenging obstacle" vibe. When you mix these two things, half of the track is not going to be fun for whoever is playing it. If I'm looking to have a good, fun time, then I don't want to play legitimate obstacles that don't have any fun factor to them. If I'm going in to play a track and have a challenge of my Trial skills, then I don't want gimmicky obstacles that are more for show than are actually fun to try and beat with pure Trials skill. This is your biggest problem IMO.

Nope. Didn't notice the backstory. Didn't play the "pirate" version.

Infiltrator is ninja. Harder than extreme is ninja. It's just that the obstacles didn't seem well-tested. As if you tested just enough to get past them once. I firmly believe that nobody should make a ninja obstacle that takes them more than 20 faults to pass. After that it's sorta down to luck and you'll have a tough time knowing if it's good or annoying.

Only one obstacle was luck based. It was the far away checkpoints that made it annoying, for some. Once you know them they aint a problem, I did test them very thoroughly, but the people I got to test it were not trials veterans, and niether am I, even though I have beat tons of ninjas. Still it is so long that speed running it would be impossible anyway. but I cant bear the thought of making short tracks. Only my first track was short cos I was just playing around.

Give the pirate version a try, who knows you might like it. It was the original version after all. Maybe if I get bored my next track should be pirate themed for a laugh Although My tracks do not match any of the pirate descriptions except not being 0 faultable and some bad cams in my first 1.

Seems like the first 1/3 of the track you absolutely hated and the rest you enjoyed.
Yeah there is a lot of inclines at the start but they are all different.

I like mixing challenging, scenic, gimmick, puzzle, strong theme, and realism in one track. Maybe I haven't perfected it yet but if I carry on I will. but length will stay the same, and checkpoints I balance out but there is limit of 20 I have to work with.

Hmnn having the railtrack blocked by the rock as you enter the mine I missed. Should have used a custom cam. But the obstacle is piss easy though Well I did notice it but didnt do anything about it, thought It wouldnt be a problem.

You did make a few misjudgements (again) though.

And hey Mike- you cant have a mine without a mine cart!

So how would you rate alien abduction then?

That's the thing. About .001% of players will truly enjoy your track if you make it all of those things. No matter how perfect it is, if it includes such a huge variety of things, then no one is going to enjoy all, or even most of it, since at times it would be such a gimmick track and others would just be an infuriatingly hard ninja track with no gimmick part to make the obstacle enjoyable. It's like you're trying to force people to try something new and different just because it's new and different. Well, the only reason it's new and different is because everyone knows that the combination of obstacles in your track is very unattractive to most Trials players and it wouldn't get good responses from almost anyone. So people don't build it. You can build what you want, but you sit there and yell at us for hating your track. How about I shove your least favorite food down your throat and keep making you eat it until you like it.

And misjudgements? I suppose they were at the exact time of my thought, but those were my opinions and/or my initial thoughts literally as I played. Please let me know the next time that you perfectly assume everything about a track the first time you play it.

And your Alien Abduction track is basically the last half of your Roswell track. I don't even know how to go about rating it right now and I really don't feel like playing it again. Sorry.
