    about lagg

is lagg generated by the sharing and DL'ing of a track or, if it runs smooth during testing, will it be fine when its up on TC. i have played a few which have suffered with lagg and tho im nowhere near done with anything of my own yet, i dont want the same to happen to mine. if its going to be observable in testing i can get rid or at least reduce but if it doesnt show up till later what can be done?

i have had lag show up in testing! so i believe if there is lag on a track then it was there also in testing.
i made a angry bikers game with lots of physics enabled objects and it was lagging so i reduced the amount of objects and it reduced the lag, there is still a little lag on the shared track but it was there during testing also.
i also noticed if you enable physics on rounded or cylindrical objects then it creates alot more lag than squared objects! and some lighting creates lag

Test it in MP with a mate or two. If there's barely any lag in MP, it will play pretty darn well once its uploaded/downloaded. That's after testing in the editor first of course! lol

don't worry, the game just sends button presses, so one console would have to replicate two to four sets of game physics, one for each rider, that's why supper-cross has no physics.
