probably a stupid question?????
hey guys, when using the OPE i don't fully understand it, i have watched the videos on u tube but i find that he skips over some information that i want to know therefore leaving me scratching my head in a puzzled world
when using OPE how do u tell it when to go off, like at what point in the game, do u need a trigger tied to it?
also just a explanation on how this works would be great thanks guys, I'm sure its relatively easy once u know its just getting to that point.
thanks guys

Re: probably a stupid question?????
in the example video, he uses an interval trigger. this can be delayed to start at any point you want. this is the "start tick" option i think. if everything is enabled and this is set to start at 0 then it fires as soon as the game starts. you can have the OPE dissabled i think and have it turned on by a state event with a trigger, be it a hit trigger or area trigger, at any point you wish. i have done this so if you cant get it to work feel free to msg me over live and we can talk it through in game. my GT is BERT AND ERNY.

Set the OPE, Data source and Impulse trigger to off (as in uncheck the "ENABLED" option). Spawn a state event. Link it to the OPE, Impulse, Data. Link a trigger (are, hit, etc) to the state event. Voila, triggered OPE.
