Did I miss something, or can you not play unshared skill games over xbox live with people to test them?

You can't test them over live since skill games do not support online mp and also other players cannot download them
any other way. Guess that was a pretty disappointing answer but sadly there is no workaround.

You could always switch the game type over to trials and make a new save, then you can play it over multiplayer. Doing it that way though you won't get any counters/meters/score to show, but it's at least better than nothing.

This is true, I could do that. It's at least something. Thanks. I'll do that. My game is meant to offer varying degrees of difficulty, and I'd like to see how more skilled players than I would do.
