some tracks i found. they are the cage tracks by a chap by the name of I I NEMISIS I I. i think thats how his gt is spelled. im in no way associated with the guy, i just thaught the tracks were nice and deserved a mention as there are so many naff tracks to go through on TC. extreme by design but not too difficult. this was the first thing that stood out for me as they are extreme by design and not the builders personal skill level. good layout and a nice emphisis on bike control due to the cage having a roof. i must admit i only gave them 4 stars but that is only because i think iv become rather strict when rating and i think the external design is lacking just a tad to warrent 5 stars in my PERSONAL opinion. never the less, you guys should deff check these out.
These tracks have crippling lag i wouldnt bother wasting your time. I thought the game was gonna grind to a halt at one point....how the guy didnt let that effect him releasing them is strange..unless the lag wasnt there when he tested it. The framerate got so bad at one point i expected to start going backwards haha!!
i didnt see lag at all. iv seen plenty of tc tracks and if i didnt think they were worth the mention i wouldnt. i wonder what causes the lag then if you see it and i dont. very strange.
If youre going to share tracks youve got to get the name exactly the search function is very specific for some reason. My friend did show me these tracks however, I enjoyed them. Strong use of the Back wheel, almost frantic if you want a good time ha
Some lag (especially orange), some lag in places, some dont lag. But the theme is just getting old now. Good luck to the guy and if people like them good luck to them too. But I got bored after the first couple tbh.Originally Posted by BERTANDERNY
yes they are done and no more are needed but i liked what was there. im not suggesting he/she carries on with the same concept tho. if the same level of track design was now transfered into something a bit more adventurous that would be very nice. i just figured it would be nice to let people know about said tracks as they are a good example of obstacle layoyt. i understand they wont be to everybodies taste. just some cool tracks a wanted to say "hey, check these out"
I'd like to see a track with a totally different feel. Something set in a "world" environment instead of a Trials arena setting. The use of more than 3 types of material for obstacles. They clearly have a decent grasp of the line and obstacles (which is more than most in TC have) so its a shame seeing it wasted on a repetitive theme. Its not so much that they're bad tracks, just that they aren't at all imaginative.Originally Posted by BERTANDERNY
Tbh, the amount of dl's the cage tracks have, I think everyone is aware of them anyway.
Sure, Trials has more possibilities now but I thought the cage tracks were well executed. Simple and Effective. It was a change of pace also, ton of outdoor tracks already. Something Ironic would be sweet, call these 'uncaged' maybe.. Still surrounded by a cage and stands, but outside. Id play.
