That's extent of my retail purchases this year. But boy O boy is that a lot of gaming!!

Halo 2 & 3 put me to sleep, so I'll pass on #4.

Whoa whoa what? I agree with you on Halo 3, but Halo 2 was so much better than every Halo game that came after it. I would still be playing Halo games to this day if they made them more like Halo 2. But then Halo 3 felt really slow by comparison, and my interest faded out after about a year.

I'm not saying you're not allowed to be bored by it, I was just surprised.

Halo 27 holds no interest for me. We were told that 3 was the end yet it keeps coming back.

Star Wars has 6 parts- I think you should allow Halo to have the same amount of games.
The books did not end with the 3rd part. There were already 6 books out at the time Halo 3 was released.
Bungie just wanted to end it! I think using the rest of the books for another triology is ok.

I think that if you ask any Star Wars fan that SW is still a trilogy. It's actually 2 trilogies, and the 2nd (earlier timeline) trilogy sucks.

Besides, there's about 300 SW books and 15 Halo books. Just because you CAN make another game in a series doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Yeah there is definitely an end to everything. I would have liked Halo as a triology as well but
as long as it doesn't get a new final fantasy I'm fine.

But you cant compare it to Final Fantasy... Each Final Fantasy game (with exception from X-2 & XIII-2) has a complete new world/story that has nothing to do with the other games.

Every big gaming series is being milked. Cod 238 is coming out this year, and Gears of War 24.7. Oh let's not forget Forza 99 (THE BIG ONE!!) and Halo -22.

It's gonna be a big year (Like all the other years) for sequels and prequels!
