Check out my ending, idk wtf happened but I didn't get a glitch but I also didn't hit it smooth AT ALL.

    Re: Personal Best Thread

Im seeing an increase in the complaining & whining in this thread lately.
Some folks here are starting to sound like fps players complaining about lag & campers.

If you hate this game so much then why do you play it so much?
Its sad that RedLynx stopped supporting Trials Evolution.
They could fix alot of glitches with a patch or two but they wont.
The glitches are the same for everybody and they are nothing new.
The timesavers are a major part of this game, if you hate them so much
i suggest you make yourselves some beginner difficulty custom tracks
without obstacles, just a straight road. And compete on it to see who has the most "skill"

Maybe try to quit the game and join me at Trialers Anonymous for the 12 step program
or just go cold turkey like Dome Knocka.

    On Topic:
276th on Carnival of Rust. Such a glitchy track, i was robbed of the world record several times.

Not exactly. Lag is internet connection, and campers is the community, both of which the developer doesn't have much control over.

Tire glitching is inevitable, but there are a huge number of tracks that have tire glitches due to bad object placement, which is fixable. So many of them should have been fixed in update 1, but they ignored it, because only the top 5-10% of riders even know tire glitching exists. Problems like the wood you crash through on Warehouse 28 and Elevation are inexcusable (although they aren't exactly tire glitches).

Timesavers have been abused in Evo. It seems that rather than making a complex line, Redlynx relied on timesavers to give the tracks enough depth that they could be replayed. Of course they didn't do it for every track, but they did it for way too many. Who the hell enjoys grinding Castle Crash, Gas 'n' Go, Groundhog Asylum, Swamp Fever, Scrapyard, etc. over and over, until you hit the timesaver right? It's not fun or challenging, it's overly-demanding and draining.

Then why grind at all it if you hate it so much? Still Confused

lol i hate all those tracks u named except Scrapyard. i love the timesavers on it, but im a noob.

i would love to talk about lag some more but we would be getting really far off topic.
Someone sent me a link to this youtube dude "woody's gamertag" the other day.
The guy made a great point about lag in cod. He was basicly saying that the better you get at cod
the more lag you will see because when you get in the hyperfocused mind-state thats required to be a
top player you will notice more subtle things like lag for example.

So yeah, only the top 500-1000 evo riders even notice the glitches, thats probably true.
but my point was just: why so much complaining... nobody is forced to grind or to play this game right?

i mean the people that keep complaining are grinding tracks like crazy so why do it then
if they hate it so much is what im trying to argue.
Competing for global points is fun, and im pretty addicted to the game, but grinding tracks i hate or that are glitchy is where i draw the line personally. That way the game stays fun for me and it doesnt turn into a chore.
i just settle for a lower global score than i know i can get and just deal with it.

i think when you choose to grind for points, whatever the skill level you are, you just have to deal with
and accept all the BS & all the tracks that you hate. if you cant deal with it then dont grind.

Now can we please get a patch for Evo RedLynx?

Honestly, I pretty much put that piece of wood in my lap on Elevation and carried it with me to the end. I was surprised I didn't glitch out and die.

    I only enjoy scrapyard btw.

I think the term you are looking for to explain your confusion is called: Venting

We gotta ***** about the ****ty tracks so we don't stop playing, and so we can keep going. We don't just put them off except stride on Moto Madness and me on Gigatrack, and maybe Max on Roller Coaster. Til' last week.

Haha nice. i remember trying to get a run on moto crapness when Dome got 3rd place on it out of nowhere
a couple months ago. i just got disgusted and gave up. im still ranked in the low 200s i think.
i lose my concentration on those type of tracks, i get so bored it makes me sleepy..
