No such thing as a best time to throw your time and effort into the crap-shoot.

i think if you are proud of your work then a thread on here with details about it will work wonders. the guys on here seem to recognise quility and appreciate effort. if the concept is sound and exacution is good then your peers, i.e the guys here who have taken the time to actualy be part of the community, will tell you so and rate accordingly. im in the proccess of making a skill game now. dead simple concept and very basic gameplay. hell, you only press one button once. im hoping when i finish it will be fun to play and replayable. when i do finish im going to mention it on the boards and hopefuly get a good response. if its not liked im fairly sure i will be told constructively. if it is liked then the guys reading these boards will hopefuly recomend it and put in a good word. the upside to the way our wonderful game works is everyone can have a go. the downside is EVERYONE can have a go. if your track/game is respected by the community here, it will get the recognition it deserves. by the people that matter.
