What is the best time to share a track? | Forums

its swings and roundabouts, i dont think it matters. more people online means more people to play your track but also means more people to share tracks and bump yours down.

if you share it at a busy time, more people see it but its also gone quicker.
if you share it at a quiet time, less people see it but its there longer.

and id say they both average out about the same downloads so i just share when its done and hope it does ok

Well I uploaded my latest week of work Saturday night at bout midnight. 8 mins later it was out of the list with a few downloads. It does make my heart sink...

Anyway its "Extreme Industries" if you want to give it a look.

i will give it a go when i go back on trials.. but first i must sleep lol.

I never really paid any attention to what time it was when i shared my tracks, but it was probably some time in the late evening mostly as that's when i work on them, but i'm in the UK so that'd be like early afternoon in the US I think.

For me it's not the weekend, my lst track that i uploaded on sunday disappeaered in 3 minutes put it up on monday when the casual players aren't online.
Anyway my gt is tenthousandstig if you want to try my tracks

skill games and supercross seem to get a hour or two before they disappear from the "new" sections, but trials only get 5 - 10 minutes... i think a unique and eye catching screenshot is your best bet to give your new trial map a fighting chance.

hi lukeyy19 im in uk too and i do agree that late evening is probably the best time.. just like to say well done on your quad bikers map and the IGN one! i like all of your maps i especialy like your supercross ones. me and my friends play them in private games quite often! keep it up bro!

Late morning,during the week for me has had the best results.but, I dont know if this has relevance.if people like your tracks,then I think they look for them more often.or if people recognise gamertags as being track builders must play a massive part..

as well as the obvious.....the track being excellent.

we can't all build amazing tracks,but we are all able to build amazing tracks..
