I notice he has other Evo videos posted, so you might want to look through them if you make vids. Just a heads up.
Guess he took it down.. victory is mine!
Wow that sucked, glad he took down. Stealing videos is just plain wrong.
Honestly I didn't really care till I saw he claimed it was HIM doing the playing! lol
One of them he changes to credit you.Originally Posted by YeahImAwesome
Thanks for the heads up glad you won the fight in the end. But my videos are safe as they have commentary and lots of editing so there is no way someone could get away with it.
The only thing i do with good vids is add them to a playlist on my channel..i would never attempt to claim something as my own..
Wot a f#*king liberty.![]()
Depending on what you use to edit with I think a watermark could help you avoid future issues, put your name all over the video. Just a guess but unless the person taking videos is a good editor having your name on it should do the trick. Kinda silly to take an extra step but it also makes your videos more identifyable.. Hate to think people out there do this but Ive seen it before.. The better you get at editing the more likely your video will be noticed elsewhere. Hey, I blame download from youtube websites.
People have been stealing Malachytes videos for a while now. They just cover up his mark with their own.
Is it not easy to tell that change was made though? Seems like a heavy effort to steal someone's work.. And whats the deal with youtube's license agreement? Dont they technically own the videos uploaded, or am I way off? If they do it would seem they were stealing from youtube and their partners?Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
