Track Central Improvements | Forums

Hey guys! We’ve heard your feedback about making Track Central an easier place to find great stuff, so we’re pleased to announce the following changes and improvements to the Feeds in Track Central.

1. RedLynx Picks
For starters, we've split the RedLynx Picks feed into two separate feeds to better suit different tastes:

RedLynx Picks: Pure Trials
This feed contains our picks of the best "pure" Trials riding. Technical, challenging, old-school, you name it. This feed is for you when you want a pure riding experience.

RedLynx Picks: Pure Fun
This feed contains the most interesting user tracks we can find: skill games, cool theme tracks, wacky creations. Check this feed to see what the editor can do.


2. RedLynx Creations
We’ve also added a new, in-house feed to highlight our own creations. This feed contains tracks created by the RedLynx team. This feed is guaranteed to contain professional quality tracks and skill games.


3. 48 Hour Feeds
We’ve also added in two new, short timespan feeds to make it easier for you to find the best tracks from out of the high volume of content being released. These are:

Highest Rated In Trials 48H
This feed contains the highest rated Trials tracks that have been released within the last 48 hours. Check this for fresh, popular content. Tracks scoring high here will likely appear in the Highest Rated This Week Feed and keep living on.

Highest Rated In Skill Games 48H
This feed contains the highest rated Skill Games that have been released within the last 48 hours. Check this for fresh, popular content. Tracks scoring high here will likely appear in the Highest Rated This Week Feed and keep living on.

Holy crap what perfect timing. My skill game just dropped off of the new skill games and forever into oblivion. Now you saved it and it is at the top of the highest rated skill games in the last 48 hours.

Those two new feeds should really save a lot of good tracks from being buried. I will be in them often and make sure that good tracks get what they deserve.

Having your track become popular is also much less based on luck now. If it is a good track, it is pretty much guaranteed to get into the two new feeds. Before this the first 15 minutes of your track's release decided whether it would be popular or fail miserably.

I still think all of the feeds should be extended to at least include 100 tracks though.
