X-WING beta
hi folks managed to get a flying xwing on the go but having trouble with banking .....im usinmg directional force to propel and control the object but when ever i try to ad banking it either freezez the object in position or flips the object ......any ideas.......
p.s try the thing out it is X-WING beta in skill games ...or gt is xST0NIEx the o is a zero

If you could be more specific on the set up of the forces I might be able to think of something. Off the top of my head have you turned the angular dampening UP on the X-wing? In my experience that changes a spin from erratic and fast to smooth and slow.
Other possible solution is to monitor the X-wing's angular velocity and set the force values to alter based on that. Maybe once the angular velocity (which I believe is showing degrees per tick) reaches 1 or 2 (that might be a bit too fast) the force value becomes 0 or even negative and while it is under 1 or 2 the force value is set to a positive number.
Perhaps along those lines you could simply increase and decrease the force value based on how close you are to your target velocity. So the force would decrease as it gets closer to the desired speed and is zero at target speed, but increases as you get closer to a speed of zero.
Wow, that was not a very clear way of saying what I meant to say, but I hope you get the idea.
