I been checking everyday since the patch was announced... and now I'm still unable to play multiplayer. Patch didn't fix the error.

"Matchmaking error... Error occured while..."

Did the devs even test the patch themselves?

supposed to refrain from playing MP till at least 4 hours from now so eveyone can get patch and LB's can be reset, jorma posted about it in a thread about the patch, this could be why.

I hope that is the fact, cause hardcore trials is the only one that is broke for me and that is the only one I like to play.

Because this Multiplayer Leaderboard Reset will take place after the Title Update, we advise you not to play multiplayer matches for at least four to six hours after you receive the Update, in order to avoid having your data purged by the reset or accidentally matching up with a non-updated player.

*Looks up* that's the reason. If an updated and not updated player get connected to each other game will probably reply with an error.

also, if someone was online when the patch came out and hasnt updated yet, I assume it would error if you went into a game with them if you do have the patch

Part of the MP matchmaking issue come from the invalid values in the leaderboard, which the leaderboard wipe should fix. Matchmaking with a non-updated player is also a sure way to get a matchmaking error.

If you now have played with the patched version with the invalid leaderboard data, this bad data is cached and you need to restart the game after the leaderboard wipe to fix the issues.

ok kids, I agree, it makes sense that the patch would have to get around to all players before we can really tell if the error is fixed. I didn't really consider that when I made the post.
