I worked really hard on it for a week or so. Please give me some constructive criticism. What you liked or didn't like. What I could do better and where can I improve? Thank you and enjoy.
oh and there is a little secret too. let me know if you find it.
I tried your track out and it was decent with a smooth ride, which is a plus since it's mostly rock and that terrain can be bumpy. There were some interesting things going on with the rope bridge and rocks falling. The spike ball was kinda random though. Most of the obstacles were paced about right and tricky but fair...except the floating bridge. Being that it's just free-floating it makes it inconsistent and hard to predict how it will react each time you hit it resulting in a semi-luck based obstacle that would piss off somebody going for a no fault run. You should either tie it down to the rocks or figure out some way to make it react the same way each time.
As far as visually it was ok and I could tell you spent some time getting the rock cave setting going on. I saw some decoration with the bridge hanging on the rocks, torches on the walls, and houses and lake in the background so I could tell there was some effort on that part. I wasn't really a fan of the constant brown throughout the first half, but that could be easily fixed with some other decoration like plants or wood just to break up the color palette a bit. And at the bottom I would have hid the straight walls leading to the water tank with cliff edges so it doesn't look so straight edged. Overall it was a pretty fun track and this was my first impression after playing it, you have potential so just keep building!
sepia rocks is really good - just don't like the floating section - too random - your other track has some nice features - would be great with more detail
Thanks so much for responding guys. I can see how the floating ramp could be irritating. It is a bit random, but tieing down the wood could help alot thanks for that.
Also
I'm not sure, but if yur talking about the structure just after the floating jump, with the scaffolding. *spoilers* that is the alternate track. Just after the annoying floating ramp ride up the rocks a bit till a note sounds, roll back, drop down and continue. This is part of the reason I left the ramp free floating. If you found this or go back to try it let me know what you thought.Originally Posted by BCDraven

I'll give it a try tonight, thanx for taking the time to build it.
Nice track, actually had some sweet flow in it. Apart from the floating ramp that was horrible.
Couldn't stop playing until i pinched the #1 spot![]()
