    Track removing (solution) ?

I propose there be a 24-48 hour window where you are allowed to take your track down.

Usually when you post a track you spent hours on you will notice a minor or major glitch somewhere on the track. This happens more often in skill games. You will see someone get a top leaderboard score that was obtained through a glitch. One reason we cant ask for total control of removing our track is because when people compete for a leaderboard score they dont want to see it taken down. So if your track could have a temporary option to be removed we could cut back on track central being cluttered with "Fix v1.1" or "Update" versions of tracks already published. And people could wait a little while before spending hours on competeing for the top leaderboard score.

i was thinking much the same, however i thought just using a simple BETA tag when sharing can have the servers automatically remove it n-days later, could also display a new icon for the listings etc.

    AW: Track removing (solution) ?

Every third track is republished. This would only lead to people not playing new tracks anymore.

A 1 hour time window would suffice imo.

Another option would be the ability to make a track private before making it public.

While the track is private, it can only be played by players on the creator's friends list and the track can't be rated.

That's a perfect idea. Making a track available only for your friends at first (no need to get them all into a lobby and a possibility to test skill games). Friends won't mind if their scores get deleted when you actually publish it. Maybe including a comment section for friends by exploiting the ms file share system
. Btw this could be added to published track central tracks as well so friends can give feedback.

you can play your tracks but only if your track is set to trials (and maybe supercross), then head to multiplayer xbox live private and (bumper?) to your track listing including any you created

Yes, however once you publish a track to track central, new bugs arise that were previously unseen in the editor and in MP.

Totally agree!! I wanted to be able to share with friends (like HD) for testing, even before Evo's launch date was announced. It's a marvelous idea. Why O why was it not included?

This option is already avalible you just have to brong tour friends in a private multiplayer game and start up your track.

I think having the track posted as normal and the ability to remove it would be better, and 1 hour isnt enough time 12-24 hours might be better
