Re: What are your first impressions of forum members?

I found here on this particular forum oeople to be very different replies on a post (my first post about the problems i was having for example) can range from helpfull, clownish, downright rude (fanboys who think this game is perfect) and just insulting more the latter in my own personal experience.

Wierd, I have never seen the term "fanboy" used on these forums till Evo came out. Now it seems to be thrown all over the place. Most of us are hardcore fans of Trials, no doubt. But I think most are fairly mature about it. Most....

Oh, God. I remember my first thread. And I certainly didn't make a good impression. I think I was *****ing about the multiplayer checkpoint system for Evo or something...and this was about 6 months before the game came out. And it turns out the thing I was complaining about didn't even exist.

Hmmmm I wonder what my first impression was.....it was probably a lot better than my second impression or my third impression.

Lol, I started doing the same thing by saying "cheers" to people online.

I've watched some online communities fall apart over internal disputes, get overrun by abusive trolls, or totally abandoned and inundated with spambots. Compared to that, I'd have to say this place is pretty nice.
