I just uploaded my latest (and probably last) color-switching track called "Black & Yellow." It's the best one yet in my opinion. It's been done for a couple of days but I waited to upload it until now.
Hello everyone. I just wanted to write a big "thank you" for all the feedback and support that everyone has given me here. I didn't touch the track editor in Trials HD and it really took over my Xbox when I started using it in Trials Evolution. I'm letting it be known that I'm taking a break from making tracks for a while. I've been making so many of them that I'm actually feeling burnt out! I may return to track-creating again one day but I'm not sure when that will be. At least now people will have the time to catch up on all my creations lol.
Here are some fun stats about my tracks (not including the older versions):
To date, I have created:
2 Easy tracks
18 Medium tracks
4 Hard tracks
5 Extreme tracks
26 Trials tracks
3 Supercross tracks
As of this writing, all of my tracks combined (again, not including old versions) have been downloaded over half a million times.
If you do a search for the highest rated Trials tracks of all time, 4 of my tracks appear in the list.
I'd like to think that I've made my contribution and left my mark on Track Central and again, this is a huge "thank you" to everyone who supported me by providing feedback, giving kudos and uploading videos of my tracks. Ride on, fellow Trials players!
Your tracks will be missed man,i enjoyed playing them &yeah hope you return![]()
I'll still be around and of course, you could always try for the platinum on all my other tracksOriginally Posted by LethalGangsta82I may return to track-making if the quality of tracks in TC take a sharp decline lol. I don't want TC to turn into a ghost town or become infested with god-awful tracks in all feeds.
If I see more "Don't Move" tracks in the highest rated this week section 2 months from now, I'll be back lmao.
EDIT: I am working on a new track, but it's going to be a long time coming. I'm spending far less time at once making tracks and instead, focusing on a few little things at a time per session.
I want my next track to be perfect in every way so I will be spending a large amount of time, total on it. I don't want to give away all the details but I liken the amount of work and details going into it to the work put into Tornado! 3!
The plan at this point is to make all the details as good as they can get, then release it at a strategic time. I plan on releasing it on September 14th (which is a Friday and also by birthday). The track itself is going to be a much-deserved sequel to one of my older ones. It's definitely going to take it up a notch (or two).
I've released two tracks simultaneously that I originally planned to release later on. No point in waiting if they're ready to go! They're both sequels to previous tracks I've made. They are:
"Don't Be Afraid 2" and "Uranium"
The first is medium difficulty and the latter is extreme. Enjoy, everyone!
I've released a fun and quick medium track called "Coffee!" Not too challenging or lengthy but there are lots of time-savers. The complexity meter was completely full or I would've made it longer!
I've also released a supercross version of this track for you multiplayer fanatics.
I submitted a new easy track called Martian Afternoon. There are lots of Mars-themed tracks available but I think mine is the first one that is based solely in reality as in no space stations or pipelines
It's easy to pass and fun to try for platinum.
I was inspired by the recent successful landing of Curiosity.
I enjoyed Martian Afternoon, it looks great and has good flow too. Simple but great track.
Also enjoyed Coffee, that was a good fun track.
Uranium was my favourite, looked great and was a good challenge. I spent a while on this track, I could always 0 fault it up to the second to last checkpoint where you have to bunny hop up onto the steel beam which I could never seem to do first time.
Great tracks as always, keep up the good work.
Thanks for the compliments! The metal planks and multiple routes in Coffee! were inspired by your red track (which I loved). With both Coffee! and Martian Afternoon, I was going for a quick and simple track with a clean and enjoyable look. It's a shame they haven't done so well on Track Central and gotten more exposure though.Originally Posted by Dr4gOnsFuRy
I really liked making and riding the Uranium track as well and am surprised it never ended up in the highest rated weekly section. I never know what other people like to see in tracks. My recent tracks haven't been successful on TC but I sure loved them!
Maybe my next track will be a "Don't Move" track... kidding!
No problem. It's great to hear that one of my tracks has inspired one of yours, that is what track making is all about. I must admit, I have taken one of your ideas also, the green branches in your Amazon track I have used in a small section of my upcoming track.Originally Posted by KaliniuS
I'm quite surprised they haven't done well, your tracks are normally always in the 48h & highest weekly feed and rightly so too. Hopefully your latest one will get there, although it seems all the don't move and the short impossible 'tracks' are coming back again, last week wasn't so bad.
I know what you mean, it's hard to cater for the majority when all they like is stupid tracks. Us normal people will always like your tracks though.
I've thought like that also, probably make a good one without floating objects too but I can never bring myself to stoop so low.
