Ive been meaning to post in here after playing Amazon a few days ago.
It looked like a great scenic extreme on paper (from the thumbnail) and watching some replays.
However, there were a few issues that were a minor annoyance to me. There was a bit lag at the very beginning and some in the middle- as soon as the rain started- and there were certain sections where the view was just a bit obstucted, this makes it very hard to speedrun. I tried to ignore those issues and put in a good run so i could record a vid of it but i gave up after a while. However the detail you put in this track was amazing, just needs a little improvement here and there.
If i didnt think you had potential to improve and make even better tracks i wouldnt post this here. So ill be keepin an eye out for your new stuff.![]()
Red and Blue & Green and Purple are so trippy, I love it! I can't get through Amazon but the replays I watched are sick. It's so detailed! When Trials Evolution was announced I couldn't wait to see what people would come up with and you aren't disappointing one bit. You got some serious talent and creativity, keep it up!
I recommend to all friends to check out your tracks
Thanks for the feedback. Actually, this all came into consideration when I was making the track. I deliberately placed certain trees/ bushes which briefly obscured the rider. I made sure to place these objects in such a way where it didn't interfere with the actual obstacle, like when you were already airborne or on a straight line. I did this to make you feel like you were in the thick of it, right in the middle on the Amazon rain forest.Originally Posted by Amplitude
The lag is something that I didn't see as too major because it doesn't seem to interfere with the gameplay. With that being said, I took the amount of foliage I was using into consideration. Every single object that is not on the driving line is set to "decoration only" and the rider's headlight is turned all the way down. This helped tremendously with the lag and the little that remains isn't something I overlooked. I just didn't want to sacrifice any more of the scenery.
Again, I appreciate your feedback and mark my words, you haven't seen the last of my tracks! lol
That's a huge compliment! Trials Evolution has become a wonderful creative outlet for me. I used to make a ton of maps for Doom and Duke Nukem 3D back when I was a teenager. This is the first time I have those creative juices flowing again since those days and I'm loving it because now, my creations can be enjoyed by tens of thousands of people, not just my circle of friends.Originally Posted by RIBBERCAGE
Yes, i see what you had in mind and its totaly right to make it easy to see the line in this kind of track!Originally Posted by KaliniuS
But still, there could be much more details!
For example:
-Put a steelbeam construction under each platform that stops before the curved part!!
-Put some sort of construction over the big circle-platforms that have ropes to hold up the circles!
And so on!!!!
This things should not make the track harder to drive, just more good looking i think!!
(But everyone has different things they like,so create like you want it and not like others tell you to do! Only if the feedback make you change your mind)![]()
The idea is realy fun,and the line was well done!!
Look forward to the next creation!!

I had to release a 2nd version of Green & Purple because there was a glitch with the boost function which allowed people to beat the track in less than 30 seconds. I fixed that and removed a shortcut option while adding another. Overall, it's a more rounded-out version of the track.
Oh the joys of missing flaws while editing/ testing... :-\
Amazon is a great track! Havent played your other creations yet but I sure will catch up on that!
Thanks for the compliment! I'm working on another extreme track that also has really cool visuals going for it. It's has a unique look and feel. It'll probably be out in a few days.Originally Posted by xXDonReneXx

I finished my latest track earlier than expected. My latest extreme track "Clear Conscience" is now live! It's pretty surreal![]()
