A bit off topic but who is your favourite band..
well im 39 and enjoyed all sorts of music.i DJd from 1989-1994 during my best nights out ever.the rave scene. But ultimately, my all time band since 1976 is the might that is QUEEN.A true legendary sound.freddie was a class of his own..R.I.P....

The contest for my current favorite band is between Chiodos and Dillinger Escape Plan. Chiodos has beautiful piano scores, while dillinger is just downright insane and technical. I'm 16, so i guess i'm into more modern stuff.

My tastes are ever-changing. I grew up listening to the Oldies (50's, 60's, some 70's), then having grown up in a Christian household I used to listen to a lot of Christian rock, then moved on to Punk Rock (totally unrelated genres by the way), then Alt Rock, then Metal, and then threw in some Indie, and now it's basically just a mix of most of those.

To name a few bands, and I don't play favorites, I listen to: Rise Against, Muse, Radiohead, Pixies, Band of Horses, The Beatles, Queen, Metallica, Queen, Queen, Queen, some Classical music, and Queen.

Queen is so diverse, that no matter what freaking mood I'm in there's always at least two Queen songs that I feel like listening to. Always.

See, I like most of the bands you mentioned. But I could never distinguish the different metal genres (and I realize those weren't all metal, just saying.) I don't know Death Metal from Platinum Medal.
