As far as I know, the Update is with MS for certification. Hopefully it is live & available soon.

Is there a set day Microsoft release updates or as it just when it passes its released?
Ive never really been waiting for a patch before and haven't taken notice.

Option 2.

It can be a couple of days between cert and release, but it's usually really quick.
