ok, there are a couple things im trying to achieve here
my track is going along a river. there is a pre-made bridge - just a small wooden one - across the river. i want it to explode and have debris fly everywhere.
on top of this, i want to add a board underneath it that, when the trigger goes off to explode the bridge, it falls and props itself against a rock to create a ramp, allowing the player to continue
hopefully that all makes sense
you could build a bridge yourself, glued together with rotaitonal hinges set to no rotation.
then put a large rejection force inside to trigger when all the rotational hinges are switched off.
very nice explosion results (especially with a nice exploding effect)
putting a board on two sliders and activating its physics just after the bang will make the board slide into the right place everytime. good luck.
