stay
i might have played some of your tracks already and it might have been good too
most important thing is that your enjoying it
maybe you will appear in my list of awesome trackbuilders on my list( its currently empty because to much crap yet at tc, it has amazing ones but those get burried to much)
It's great that there's so many new tracks all the time, that things get lost in the shuffle. It's not as great that the forums don't seem to be real busy with people talking about those tracks.
Hang in there Blase, don't give up just yet. You made some fun stuff on HD and I've been looking forward to what you and other creators on my list come up with in Evo.
I can totally understand your frustrations, Track Central and the forums both move very fast these days and it can be very easy to be overlooked or lost in the shuffle. If anything I'd say keep your track ideas in the back of your head if you don't feel like building right now or if you want to see if Track Central settles in a bit first.
Either way, thanks for the tracks you made in HD and hopefully you stick around for Evo.![]()
OB, I love your tracks you're one of my favourite creators.![]()
Nice to see that you guys like my work on HD![]()
I kept an eye on the editor and I must say......Before I want to release my first track I need more practice on the editor. I won`t give you a track who looks not finished.
So it will taking a long long time to see my name on track central. At last I want to play some older games like DARKSIDERS( what I`m doing now) and NINJA GAIDEN 2.
Maybe I can get some inspiration for some new settings, because Evolution need another backgrounds than HD. I have to cross my brain for this.
Yeah in HD, not many people did get great feedback because sharing tracks wasn't as easy.
But with Track Central in Evo, all the praise should be by how many people have downloaded your track, who and what times are on the leaderboards and what rating they have gave you.
A thread on the forums doesn't mean people aren't giving you feedback, only about 3-4% of Trials riders probably even visit the forum, so to go and give feedback on a track is unlikely. The only people that have great feedback are all the huge-well-known map creators in HD.
Just remember, you have to start off somewhere, once your tracks get recognised, your away!
Don't give up man![]()
OP mate,I've only just found your YouTube,n sent you a message stating this.if it wasn't for this forum dude I would not have found it.it's a frustrating time for all and if you think about it,only the die hard fans of the game, like with trials hd, will be still here building away as normal cos others will let the honey moon period of the game go away. I play your tracks like with hd,so this is my message of support to you my friend to hold out.maybe just take a break, but not goodbye.I will look forward to playing your tracks in the near future..
be like water my friend..
don't think......feeelll, or you will miss all the heavenly glory.
I highly recommend waiting to release your tracks if you are making them on Evolution. If HD made you feel bad, the current track sharing system will make you feel 100 times worse.
There is a 90% chance your track will be buried below garbage and never seen by most players. Getting into the highest rated is completely random, there is absolutely no pattern to it. Whether your track gets noticed or ignored is completely up to luck.
There is nothing worse than releasing an amazing track, watching it disappear, and in then looking at the complete crap that is currently in the highest rated.
Wait for the morons to leave this game and then start releasing tracks. That's what I am going to do after watching two of my tracks get buried. (One of them due to a glitch in Track Central)
Wait a minute, you're the guy that made the Minimalist tracks in HD? Oh my god, I've been trying to find out who made those forever!!! You didn't put your gamertag in the title and I lost track of a lot of creators that way. That is one of my favorite tracks of all time!!! Just floating wood planks, but the driving line was so cleverly done. It was deceptively simple, yet incredibly addictive. I think the concensus of the community is clear : Don't quit OpposumBlade. Just because you don't get a lot of feedback doesn't mean people aren't playing and loving your tracks.Originally Posted by ShoeboxGorilla
