    OpossumBlase says GoodBye

Hi everybody. I just want to say goodbye to the community. I`m tired to making tracks and get no response. I have made 53 tracks on TrialsHD and just a few people has given feedback.
I know I was not the best creator, but to read great comments on YouTube when friend posting a track made by me, and my own thread was empty......that sucks!
It`s a great game with a great community but for me it`s not the worth to making tracks when there is no score.
    Bye.

with the sheer amount of good track builders out there, i dont mean to sound rude or anything, but its not a huge loss.

i too feel kind of the same, but mainly because i could waste all my time in the editor if i carried on.

It actually WOULD be a big loss. Ive played OB's HD tracks, but haven't had a chance to try any on Evo.

OB, it's only been a month, man. Don't give up.

woah hang on a bit man! there are way too many people making tracks and way too many tracks going out every week for people to be giving everyone feedback on every track.

this means unfortunately, some good creators are not gonna get the attention they deserve but as time goes on it will get better.
ive played loads of tracks and thought 'thats amazing' ill leave a message on the forum... and then just forgot because theres so many tracks going around.
i get it though, its frustrating putting so much effort into something and feeling like it was for nothing but dont give up, at least not yet

i like to think i make tracks for myself, and if people like them great. if not, never mind. youve got skills man, keep at it!

Right now with evo still new we are seeing a huge flood of new user made tracks. Almost everybody is having their tracks get lost into the abyss very quickly. it seems like the only way to get attention with your track is to get it into the RL Picks.

Give it a few weeks, things will settle down and it will become easier.

Of course I made tracks at first for myself. It`s a lot of fun for creative minds. But don`t forget: This thing lives from the community, it lives from feedback, it lives from people who are playing, it lives from communication.
I never had much of this.

Hm...Perhaps I need a break. I`ve got some ideas from TrialsHD that I never tried to create, but on EVO there is a chance to build the right view and look for my ideas.
But as I said, I`m tired to build tracks.

Thanks guys for this kind words. Perhaps I`m releasing something at the time, maybe I`m just giving feedback and write at the forum.

Yeah man, don't quit. I remember your Strangen and Minimalist extremes from HD (among lots of other good tracks). Very good work. I for one would like to see more from you. Maybe just take a break for a bit and wait for Track Central to sort itself out. I will definitely play whatever you choose to put out in the future.

Don't give up mate, many people feel the same way you do about this so you're not alone. Keep building and having fun with it and let your tracks speak volumes

Please dont give up! I really enjoyed (most of) your HD tracks. Im sure you would build great stuff on Evo, too...

While I hear what you say on the feeback issue I hope you reconsider...

Hey man - don't quit because of lack of feedback.

It's true that many of us, me included, don't send much feedback when we play tracks, but it's not because we don't enjoy them. It's because sending feedback is either inconvenient at the time, we play too many tracks to give feedback on everything, or we're lazy Personally, while I don't have all of your tracks, I know I've played through the ones that I do plenty of times.

The new track sharing system with Evo will allow for more people to try your track, but it's also less personal - people don't need to send a friend request to try it out, so chances are that the feedback to person ratio will be less. You can't let that get you down.

If you've built 50+ tracks, it's pretty obvious that you enjoy it, and If you love building tracks, please continue to build them.
