    Congrats!

Out of curiosity, you are using the Scorpion, right? Phoenix bike is definitely inferior for this track.
I've not found it too difficult to get a sub-7:00 time, as long as I can avoid faults.

Nice one well done, I've still got to shave 20-30 seconds off somewhere...

    You will....

It's such a long track, you'd be surprised how much time you save just by being smooth, and knowing what's coming so you can plan ahead.

When I first platted Gigatrack it was in 06:59.xxx, I left the track alone for a couple of weeks then within a handful of runs I'd got it down to 06:54.xxx. I was gonna leave it there as I was happy with that time, until it came up in multiplayer and everyone else quit. I carried on and beat my SP time by 3 or 4 seconds, albeit with one fault. I immediately went back to singleplayer and on my second attempt did a 0 fault run in 06:47.xxx!

I was well chuffed with that one, but have had many more failed runs where I was atleast 4.5 seconds ahead of my best, and my runs are proper shabby and alot slower than the top guys on the leaderboards (who are nearly 30 seconds faster!!).

My point being, keep at it, it's a hella long track but there is soooo much time to be saved, you'll have your plat soon enough

dammit, I never watched any replays as I didn't want to sit watching someone else play for 7 minutes, I just assumed the pheonix would be quicker and used that, I did manage to get the plat but now I'm gonna have to go back and do it again

Yeah, unlike TrialsHD, there are a TON of tracks where the Scorpion is getting the top times. I really like how the two bikes feel more competitive with each other in EVO.

yeah, it makes it more interesting having to choose which bike is quicker for each track. I find it difficult to tell which to use without watching the top replays though.

It does make it more of a challenge though, you need to master 2 different bikes to be good at the good, not just one.

Thats an interesting thought though, would it be possible to make a course where its quicker to use the first bike instead of the scorpion or the pheonix> even if you could would you want to play it?

That's not possible... and why should you? Maybe you can create a track on which the micro donkey is faster if you set certain ways that can be used by the donkey only.

Or make a track that you're only allowed to use the Reptile / Piranha on.
