Just wanted to take this time to thank all you guys for the awesome support I've received in the last week or so, it truly is the difference makermakes me super proud to be a part of this community.
I think everyone tries to show support to a great track. I also personally find it great to see any creator find something they are really enthusiastic about and will always try to support that. I like the fact that you seem to have found something (the 8-bit theme) that you can be really creative with and enjoy working with. Of course, it doesnt hurt that you seem pretty damn good with it either! lol
I'm really hoping we see a huge series of these 8-bit tracks. The possibilities are almost endless for doing homages to other games, movies, etc. I also think you'll get better with them and incorporate different types of lines and stuff as well. So if you continue to enjoy the medium, I think you'll just get better and better with each one. Given the standard of the first one, why wouldn't we want to support the possibility of more nad (maybe) better ones in the future? lol
Glad to see you enjoying them though, thats always the main thing.![]()

K gang without further ado, I proudly present The 8-Bit Assassin. I had a hard time uploading this track and almost scrapped it but thanks to some quick thinking by Stiggyhead and Cruelty, I was finally about to post it so get ready to strap into the good ol' Animus machine and relive some of your 8-Bit ancestors memory's as you take a medium ride through the family villa. Each medal time as it's own ending memory, can you relive them all? Be on the look out for Assassins and Easter Egg's.... Requiescat In Pace....
What's the platinum ending? I'm too bad for it
EDIT: Got it![]()
These are awesome Bones! Jumping into the NES and seeing everything from Excitebike to Contra put a huge smile on my face. The Assassin models look great, I really enjoyed the locale, animations throughout, and the different endings. I hope you do more of these. Any vintage Castlevania in the future?...![]()

Actually Grimm, I do plan on doing more of the 8 bit style tracks an Castlevania is definitely on the top of my listeventually I'd like to do Castlevania, Metroid, Double Dragon, Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell and many more games in the 8 bit style and I'm even thinking bout doin movies the same way but only time will tell. thanks for the feedback.
Argh. New track COULD have been cool and all..but what on earth with that ten second 'loading screen' in the beginning..![]()
Totally killed the little speedrunner in me.
Damn bro, I'm sorry you feel that way. I felt like the "synchronizing" screen was a must to give it more of an authentic assassins creed atmosphere. Also I'm pretty sure that area isn't really 10 sec but you are still riding the whole time, it's just a single white rectangle #10 long, its not like it wastes time on your run or anything like that but I am honestly and truly sorry that you didn't enjoy the track as I had intended and I greatly appreciate your honest feedback.Originally Posted by Dosto
Well basically you can just hold RT for 10 first seconds of the track and you lose no time.Originally Posted by MrBones1872000
It doesn't waste time on my run, but it wastes MY time.
I'm sorry I feel this way too :/ I think I would've liked the track.
You know how like people complain about having to press "back" instead of just "B" to restart run because it takes like a second more..? well this is like that but times 10
