Have the developers acknowledged the track central mess?

..and more importantly have they said they're working on fixing it?

Please don't get me wrong, I loooooooooooovve this game. But it has such basic fundamental and functional flaws that really rain on the parade. I would love so much to show my friends why they should buy this game but I'm not even confident in doing that at the moment. Playing through all your dl'ed player created tracks is terrible.

(1) Choose play tracks
(2) Choose list view
(3) scroll
scroll
scroll
scroll
scroll
scroll
scroll
scroll
scroll
(4) wait 5 minutes for the ratings to show if you've played/liked the map or not
(5) Play the track
(6) return to the menu BEFORE (1)
(7) return to step (1)

every.single.time

I would love to be able to organise tracks into your own favourites or play list. Would that be hard for them to patch in? Then there's all the weird issues like user created track descriptions staying on the description for one you played 5 tracks ago. I want to say again that I love playing this game but it's some silly little design flaws that are ruining it for me.

I think RL has their hands full with other more important issues currently. Leaderboards/game freezing issues should be top priority. I'm sure there will be some changes to TC. Be patient.

The forthcoming patch will focus on the critical issues like multiplayer ratings/progress/freezes and leaderboard exploits. We are trying to get it out as soon as possible.

It's possible that there are more patches coming out later to fix less critical issues. During Trials HD life time we released 3 patches and 2 DLCs to the game. Trials Evolution is even more important to us, and I am sure we are going to support it for a long time.

Will this include the issues with the mp crashing when playing custom maps? I really hope so, but it would be nice to have it confirmed/clarified.

If the custom tracks you are playing have more than 22 CPs, then you need to report those. Basically, report any track that crashes your xbox.

People are using the item menu to place more CPs when they are no longer able to copy/paste them. That is what is causing the freezing/crashing 95% of the time.

No its not checkpoints. It even happens when playing the downloaded redlynx tracks. Everyone I know has experienced this issue. When using ONLY custom tracks, in a private lobby, the game consistently crashes, freezes xboxes or kicks players out after a couple of tracks. When using just tracks from single player it doesnt happen at all. All the custom tracks play fine in "play tracks", the problems only occur in mp lobbies.

There is a thread where this was briefly discussed in the support section: viewtopic.php?f=84&t=87 56

I don't have any interest in MP since to me it's just like racing ghosts. Dispite this being bad news to me, I know Redlynx is a great developer and commited to giving their fans the best experience possible.

talk about an overreaction.

there are multiple problems with Evo, im confident they will all be fixed as soon as they can get to it. but the game as it is now, with all issues included, is a steal and a deal at $15.

just the bog standard SP portion of the game is worth $15 and more, easily. there is really no reason your friends shouldnt have bought it already if they had any interest at all.
