Seemingly inappropriate language in track instructions!? | Forums

I've just finished a skill game and tried to upload but I keep getting the "inappropriate language" message thus rendering my upload impossible.

My instructions are simply...Land on the flipper, push up to activate then bail out."

Personally I can't see anything wrong with that but is there something I may have overlooked?

You may have gotten the same problem, which is that end of one word and the start of anther word form something the word filter considers inappropriate. Unfortunately, there's no easy way of telling which words are the cause without randomly replacing the words.

I hope Microsoft or Redlynx can make some kind of fix for this as it's incredibly frustrating when it happens.

I had a feeling it would be something like that, or maybe it recognised a foreign swear word and flagged that up.

Either way, I was running late for work and didn't have time to randomly change words, but I finish soon so ill have a tinker when I get back. Incidentally this is the skill game that you helped me out on.

Try replacing
flipper, push and up

Unfortunately we don't control the list of banned words... We had the same problem just with the word "awesome" and it seems really ridiculous.

It's also weird that I saw the word "sucks" somewhere in the user created tracks, but it's not allowed in your own bio.

Its seems that the word in question was Land?? Crazy huh lol
