Uploaded Track Central Changed Metal Times? | Forums

I just uploaded a new skill game an hour ago, -J88 Record High. A height jump skill game. I set the metals to be 11 jumps 2:30 plat, 10 jumps 3:00 gold, and 8 jumps 4:00 silver. When I uploaded tho, my friend hit the plat (11 jumps) and only got a bronze metal. It shows as silver time being 14.400 seconds. What happened? I opened the track back in the editor and it was fine.

I'd rather not have to re-upload and have another game with 2 versions :/ Wish there was a way to delete tracks.

You should post this in the other thread dude. But yeah it's so annoying when you have problems like this and can't test it before hand.

Check to see if your time score is reversed (ie, longer is better, shorter is worse). I've seen quite a few custom skill games that the leaderboard is opposite from what the creator surely intended.

If that's true, then you'd have to get 8 jumps or better, 4:00 or longer for silver.

Nope it looked perfect in the editor....

plat 11
gold 10
silver 8

plat 2:30
gold 3:00
silver 4:00

Exactly how it should be, just maybe something got messed up when it was uploaded...

And its not 4 mins, its 14 secs....which is no where near possible.

Would reporting the track work to take it down? I remember someone else on here had their track reported and it was taken down.

This is a known bug when you are using datasource variable with Time formatting as your primary or secondary value. The editor medal times are basically showing about 16.6 times bigger values than they actually are. When you share the track, the confirmation screens shows the real medal times. As a temporary solution, make the medals times much much bigger than intended and check the sharing screen if you got them right.

This issue should be fixed in the upcoming patch.

So if I reupload with a much higher metal time, and the patch hits, would it be messed up then? Thanks Jorma for a fix! I'll try and set them 16.6x higher

Patch will affect the visuals in the medal time setting screen. The times saved to the tracks will stay the same.
