CryptoLooney Tracks (new Marble Quest Part 1)
I won't say I am the best but I do try to make things interesting and go with off the wall ideas...some pan out...some go so wrong. Most of my tracks have 4 star ratings and only see 200-2200 downloads. Sadly they only get rated by few. I don't expect to hear wow you are the greatest, but to know the hours and days brought some entertainment to someone.
track list
extreme
Reflections - this was an idea to make a track that moved as the user wanted. Right stick right spins track
right, and right stick left spins left. Ran into a few problems with checkpoint issues and as i added to
track it made things not spin right. Probably could do this right now after the days it took to
make this track work.
Reflections 2 - Decided to turn it into a skill game to solve checkpoint issues...seems i am the only one thats ever
finished this out of over 2k downloads.
Reflections 2.1 - Made it so it wasn't as hard. Took out finish line requirement.
The Car Factory - Wow is all i can say. This track racked my nerves getting things to move right, while dodging lag.
I reached a point that i just rushed it... I was so sick of working on this track but was
determined to finish. I hate it after all I went through. Hope someone enjoys it.
Rewind - This was just some fun I had with the reset to checkpoint. Basicly time traveling back to the Big Bang.
Hard
Myth of the Devil - Not the best. I spent most of it playing with different toys. Opened the door for a series.
Way of Blood - Decent track with high speed for the most part. Part 2 Myth of the devil series.
Golden Lake - Pretty quick track with some cool looking stuff. Another play around and see what happens track,
turned out better than i thought.
Deja vu - This is my favorite. Sadly I learned of a few bugs that makes the track not work shared
(over 20 checkpoints and reset to checkpoint). This track makes use of almost every button on the
controller. It is a puzzle track. You start off in the portal room and have to select different colored doors
to progress(right stick). Each port leads to a different area. Each area gives you an ability at the end that
you need to use to get through other areas(different buttons). There are clues when you have to use an
ability(sound and sight). The end of the track is hidden and with a little attention...you might just figure
it out. Myth of the Devil series.
Deja vu* - I managed to fix the over 20 checkpoint issue. It still does random freezes on checkpoint resets, but i
made it through to the end after my 2nd try at the track. Keep reading if you want hints for the track,
but if you like puzzles, then just pay attention around you.
1st- Notice the lights under you at start...they aren't random, and will give you a hint to the exit.
2nd- Sounds are a big tip for this track. 3rd-First(lb) ability has to do with wind, second ability (rb)
is time, third (right stick in) is a boost, and fourth (left stick in) opens the exit.
The Cage - Just wanted to make a track out of fence. Myth of the Devil series.
WE ARE THE BORG - I figured with all the Star Wars tracks being put up...Star Trek needed some love. This was
a pain in the butt. I put stuff in until I was hitting limits in places, I didn't know had limits.
Interesting track, sadly with the limits I didn't get to do what I wanted and had to rework
parts of track to allow for the big ending.
Roadrunner 2 - Again name says it all. I decided to label this one hard, but I could be off like I am normally. I
didn't get to do the exact ending I wanted. I hit the dread track too complex and had to do what i
could to finish with the ending I have.
Medium
Training Day - I learned how to do a lot with the toys on this track. Pretty easy and fast track. A track i did out
of boredom one day and no idea what to build. Turned out pretty decent with a cool ending i think.
Day's End - My first track. I just played around mostly here while trying to keep it simple.
Roadrunner - Nothing really to explain, name says most of it. Just a silly little track, that I had fun with. I did have
to delay people starting as the timers running due to too many things going on at start and caused
2 secs of lag. So after 2 secs go by everything is lag free, just had to delay the start. I had more to
add, but sadly with all the stuff I have moving and what not... I had to end the track and plan a part
2.
Marble Quest Part 1 - This was very interesting to make everything work. The amount of testing was insane.
Colors play a big part for giving hints. I wanted to start out simple and get to the harder
stuff. but near the end i ran into the evil track size requirement. So had to just settle for
sharing the first 50%. Part 2 is interesting so far. More items like multiball,spikeball,c4, and
flame thrower. The puzzle system really kicks in since pt1 teaches you the idea of the
game. Both parts are hard but the 2nd one is insane... I don't see anyone finishing it
without watching a replay.
Marble Quesr Part 2 - Coming really soon

Re: CryptoLooney Tracks (new track- we are the borg)
Fixed Deja vu for the most part. Lost a few checkpoints, which makes it a little harder. Not totally sure i didn't create some other small issues with the track by removing checkpoints I used as triggers. I think I fixed everything until they patch checkpoint reset fixes...hard to be sure when there are like 200 yellow effects/triggers floating around.

Re: CryptoLooney Tracks (new track- we are the borg)
I enjoyed your tracks, some really great ideas and track layouts. Some of them are pretty hard though. I think some of the hard tracks should be rated extreme, just my opinion though.
Also, how do you finish the Reflections skill game? Do you have to get all the targets for it to finish the game?

Re: CryptoLooney Tracks (new track- we are the borg)
Reflections 2, you must cross over the finish line with as many targets as you can get...I've only finished it a few times in editing and once to post it. I have come really close a few times since. Its why I did Reflections 2.1 and removed the finish line requirement.
Glad you enjoyed the tracks. I agree half of them should be extreme after watching people play them. I made the tracks so its hard for me to decide since I know how they are done and practiced the tracks.
Thanks for the input.
