I don't know about you lot but I have only just discovered how much fun it is to race friends on custom supercross tracks.

If you don't know already, you all race on the same screen with the camera focusing mainly on the lead rider. If you get far enough ahead of anyone, they will disappear out the back of the screen and gain a fault. You then respawn them as you pass the next cp. Same thing happens if someone crashes.

I played with a couple of m8's who can ride easy / medium tracks quite well but struggle with some hard / extreme and the results have been surprising.
We enabled bail out finishes and downloaded loads of supercross tracks and played 2 heats on each and even tho I'm ranked in the top 100 or so I struggled to win every time because you if your friend crashes, you spawn them at the next cp you ride past. So if that cp is at the top of a backflip section, they spawn before you get up there and ride off leaving you at the back of the screen trying to guess where the next jump will take you.

If you haven't already discovered this goldmine, I strongly urge you to get a bunch of mates in with a few beers and race.
We found a track called 'Pollution World' in the 'highest rated supercross' section, which was really easy to run and great for local mp as there was very little way of making up more speed than your rivals. search more by this creator for some more epic tracks.
Hope this message brings as much joy to someone else as local mp did to me.

Ive got to say that ive had a good laugh with friends using the bailout finish..if you get it right it looks amazing..like you meant to do that.superman flying across the line to pip your friends for first place..its great,but getting it wrong more than once including your mates messing up,can be a good laugh...

You can really fly far and fast if you flip your bike n bail at the same time..quality.

I really wish online had an option to work like local. Its WAY better and much more fun. **** is funny as hell playing a harder map that no one played before and with average players lol

I agree.it would be good if you could host your own track options,online..maybe this is a good suggestion if more people agree..

I agree in a way, but I do see it becoming like QS'ing in COD if there was a rank to be upheld.
Maybe for non ranked games only.

@jhitman I noticed you dominated that LB. I couldn't get within a second of that. The bit where you go down instead of straight is hard to pull off without losing your speed.

thanks for the thread. i thought it was split screen, so i had no interest in local MP.

the local mp is fun as hell but if i was racing online id want my own screen as im always off up front.

Ever since I first saw this vid, I wish I had more offline friends who played trials.
