why can we not play our own tracks from the hd in single player anymore? the only way i can see it and actually play it is either in:

in the editor test (doesn't show accurate representation of track, same as THD)
in multiplayer (can't use back button to start over, lag/tearing because of it being online multi)
once its uploaded to TC (can't change anything, once its up its final)

all 3 of these suck for checking out a final track for optimization. in THD once you were done, you took it out the editor and into "Play Tracks" menu for those final days of checking for error. this is no longer an option. in "Play Tracks" here you only get the sections such as "Downloaded" and not one for your own tracks that are just on the hard drive.

no wonder there are so many version 1-10/fix tracks clogging up TC, you cant edit once its up and realistically, YOU CANT EVEN TEST before its up there. please fix this redlynx, add the ability to play your own tracks off the hd in single, outside of the busted options we have currently that I listed. this is much needed, and TC would benefit from this (less garbage).

As it is now, i prefer the old friends list method of sharing, over track central.
Who the hell cares if the leaderboard of a custom track gets deleted?
If the track is flawed and needs to be fixed, there won't be much competition on the LB.

Agreed!! I have some mistakes on my last track and that is the cause!!
I wanna watch replays on my wips!! looking for mistakes!! Now that is not possible!!

there is like 3 warning messages saying yes/no and are you sure because it can't be changed.

people have said you can just host a mp match and invite friends for private beta testing a track before uploading.

This was my thought as well. That and there's a good chance that if there is mistakes, they will be noticed by the first few who download them anyways allowing you to take it down before to many get their runs in. In the end, I think allowing for the deletion of tracks will make for a much smoother TC.
