The new update isn't in MS Cert yet, but here's a preview of some new things.
Abandoned mines are so huge. I wonder how they're going to work in our smaller worlds?
But I'm most excited about stone bricks and melons! I have so many melon farms on PC; they're so fun to harvest and rewarding as well.

Ive got like 4 wheat farms on XBLA so im bound to make tonnes more food farms but i hate my seed it is all snow and no grass and no alps!

"We've handed over the final 1.8.2 build to Microsoft! They'll run some confidence tests then put it into Certification Testing."

What do they mean by 'bringing the mining speed changes?' Will there be faster mining?
I can't fricking wait for 1.8. And Origin of Pain DLC.

I know it has nothing to do with Minecraft but this is a 2D version with better combat, crafting, lighting effects, adventures, dungeons and more!
