Does anyone here know if RedLynx has plans to allow users to remove tracks they've previously shared? Obviously this would disable the leaderboard for this track but I'd love to see if considering I personally uploaded two version of the same track (of which one of them has less than 22 checkpoints).
While we're on the subject, does RedLynx have any plans to revamp the Track Central? It seems that all tracks uploaded to it are either huge successes or barely touched.
Yes this please! I REALLY would like to be able to delete the glitched version of my track so there's no confusion. RedLynx devs, MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!
As of now RedLynx said this to be unfair to the players who speedrun the track.
So no this feature won't come along.
Simple answer: Test your **** before you upload.
Yeah, you're a real funny guy. When you test a track with more than 22 checkpoints, it works fine. It works fine when you run it to upload. After that, anyone that downloads it can't finish because it freezes at the end. How do I test for that, assclown? Know what the hell you're talking about before you open your mouth.Originally Posted by Synapsis
Pretty sure everybody should know about the checkpoint limit by now, and why would you need that many checkpoints anyway?
Easy way to do this is to have your friends & friend's friends & so on & so forth, spam hate on your track with reports.
Trust me, if a TC mod plays your track, and it locks up his box a few times, it won't be restored to TC.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't know about it if you didn't visit these forums regularly (like me until recently). You'd need that many checkpoints if you had an unusually long track.Originally Posted by Synapsis
I'm not sure if there are any plans to allow you to remove tracks, but there is currently a warning when you upload that states that you will not be allowed to remove or modify tracks uploaded to Track Central.
Load up your track in a multiplayer lobby and invite your friends. Your track does NOT need to be on Track Central to test this way. In fact, it's just about essential when creating a Supercross track. Trust me...![]()
This is great advice, not that i tend to use to meny checkpoints but its exactly what i do to check my maps before uploading them. Yea sure the track will probably lag because your on multiplayer but its a great way to get advice and spot any last minute issuesOriginally Posted by ShiftySamurai![]()
