I don't want to be the person who keeps good tracks down.
Brand new track posted: Snow Drift Peak. Medium-hard level- Top for details.
Played your Snow drift peak and thought that it was smooth, no lag, great time savers, length and feel but it lacked foreground, maybe more background and detail and possibly see some animations with things going on tracks but the detail also wasnt overdun either nor was the close background enjoyed it for speed, smoothness and length.![]()
Are you having a private joke with slatonator by any chance? Because I spent 3 runs through just gawping at all the detail, so I cant imagine you're being serious!Originally Posted by LitTlExJeZuZ
I loved the track and loved paricualr little touches especially (like the fireplace). Your best yet imo.

I'm simply saying that I think there's plenty going on in the scenery. As there is a large draw distance and quite a lot of things in the background for the early part of the track adding much more in those sections (near or far) could have caused a lot of lag. So I'm surprised anyone felt it needed more.
As for the foreground, I did notice a small piece of hillside sticking its head through the snow at one point, but thats about all tbh.
Both of us are entitled to our opinion and we dont have to agree on them. Both opinions are equally valid. But its hard to tell if someone is being honest, or having a joke with someone they know, thats all. I didnt intend to antagonise you, I was honestly unsure if it was a private joke or honest feedback! So sorry if I caused you offence, that really wasnt my intention.
One thing we do seem to agree on is that we liked the track, so lets focus on that, before we hijack the thread with our misunderstanding for any longer! lol
I've played all your tracks and still have them in my downloads, but I never knew you had a thread here. I really like the latest one, Snow Drift Peak, and kept replaying it today until I got the best run I could muster out of it. Great work on the drive-line and visuals, looking forward to whatever you come out with next!
The thing with me is that if i were to make that track i would have made a disgusting driving line and good detail and background that is the first thing i do with tracks if you played my tracks you would realize that i have an Evo history of poor driving lines but lots of detail its very hard for me to make a track as smooth and no laggy as that.
Ok thats all from me as you said dont want to spam the thread to death![]()
Bro I love clock tower.Keep going back. Best track on my list so far of over 150 I'm sure. A close second would be natural flow. Dat driving line. Cheers.
Just played Snow Drift Peak. Very, very cool. Wish I had the ice idea for my snow track.
