Moving a platform backwards and forwards over the DL
Sorry if this has been asked before, I have had a look at a lot of the videos too so I need further advice.
I want to make an obstacle that basically has flat panels automatically moving backwards and forwards over the driving lines, imagine it like holes sliding open and closed in a machine like fashion.
So what would be the best way to do this? any help I would really appreciate it.

Physics Joint set to slide with collision off and attach it between one object with physics on and another with physics off.

I'd have used an object position event with a looping data source. Simply because I prefer them to forces and hinges. But the above method should work fine too. Whichever seems easiest I guess.
