How do I make braking lights for a car?? Ideas anyone?

Ok plain and simple I did a movable/control Go Kart, the only thing need is braking lights, but this lights on Evo are huge for a Go Kart, I mean it's not a monster truck; how can I make them smaller or what can I use... has anyone done anything similar? I set the light case visibility off, but still the beam coming from the light looks huge compare to the size of the Go Kart...

    so... anyone?... ?

Unfortunately you can't make lights smaller. You could try partially obscuring the lamp, leaving a hole for the light to come through. Go to 'light settings' to change the light's intensity and the width of the beam (Cutoff) etc.

For my car I used square lamp due to it's brightness and made the lamp itself invisible. Then put some of it inside of the car so only some of the light showed, hopefully your go-kart has somewhere to partially obscure light!

I've made some brake lights using the point light, get two in postiion at the back of your go kart, then enable them and play with the light intensity and range until your happy. Then glue them to the object and they will move as one. Obivously disable them once your happy and then factor in your effect event. You could probably incorporate this with your current light cases (just disable those).

Not sure if this is suitable for your needs but I have a car accelerating towards the rider and then braking, with the lights it looks pretty realistic.
