Slider not working??
I've made a couple of tracks now making use of the slider joint to move objects, arms of a robot and a flying plane. These work perfectly in the editor mode when I turn physics on but not during a track test when using an physics event trigger. I've tried loads of diffrent things including regrouping objects, rebuilding the joints/trigger, playing with the weights/object physics etc etc but cannot figure out why it works in the editor but not when playing the track. Does the distance from the trigger to the object make any difference?
Anyone help? Please

I would guess its because the objects aren't in the rider's physics bubble.

I'll check that out, I did wonder as both times the start point has been a little distance from where the rider is. Many need a rethink on my positioning then.

That vid was very helpful thanks. Also if anyone else is trying to get things moving outside the bubble look at video No29. I had a look at that one which explains how it works but it's way too complicated for my tiny brain at this point. Will be trying to get my head round it at some point. I just ended up moving my plane so the physics bubble just about triggered it, I could then drop bombs on the rider, happy days
