I have 157 custom tracks, they are amazing. However, I now get the 'Device is full' error, suggesting there is no more room for tracks...
Is the limit on custom tracks really approx 160???
This is really disappointing, as I now need ot start deleting old tracks to get new yet the xbox HDD is barely half full.
Please find a fix for this, surely 300 or so would be a real bonus, or is there an issue with the servers/leaderboards with more than 160 custom tracks?
You can save more tracks on an additional storage device such as a USB-Stick. I doubt the quality of your maps though since I cannot imagine someone making 157 quality and polished tracks in just two weeks.![]()
He's downloaded 157 custom tracks, not made them himself.Originally Posted by Happyflow
Is there something else on the storage device? The device might just simply be full, I'm pretty sure the limit is not such an odd number.
Ooops misread the post![]()
Btw. I think the limit is 1000 tracks per device. Can't remember who of the Devs said it anymore....
But wouldn't be surprised if this is another bug![]()
All the bugs start pissing me off so much already (especially the ones in multiplayer... Searching together with a friend is pure pain). I hope the patch comes around this Wednesday or Friday.
Next time take your time and fix them all before hand.... I am sure that Microsoft put you under pressure with their announcement but I'd rather have a bug free game 2 months later than, I honestly don't want to be mean, this bugloaded game.
There is a 1000 track limit per storage device. This number includes both downloaded tracks and the track you have made in the editor by yourself.
thanks for clarification. i can confirm my hard drive had 100GB free, and i got to 167 tracks downloaded before getting the 'no room' error...Originally Posted by Jorma
so i copied all tracks to a usb stick and downloaded 15 more no problem.
since reading this, i copied all 182 tracks back to hdd and no problems...must have been a bug, maybe swapping between menus too quick.
oh well, 1000 limit is awesome news -- thanks!
