Thanks man. I did the suspension with a spring slash point to point. The point to points acting as the sway arms. O am getting ready to release a new attack chopper as well. It will be 10 fold better than my old one.

Quick question for either of you, if you don't mind. How exactly are you driving the wheels of your cars? I assume you're using a RT controller input, but are you then applying that to the "Angular motor" of the axle rotation joint? If so, what values are you using for max angular velocity and max force?
If not, how are you doing it?

Hey thanks man. I used to use the rt input but now I use the Game Object Character Speed. I use that with the two input operator. Then I select the rotational joint and go to angular settings then angular motor. I the go to velocity and hit y to select target value. Select the two input operator as the target value. Then select the two input operator and set it to multiply and set the operand 1 to the Game variable data source. The operand 2 is the angular motors that you just connected to them. From there you select the Game data source then change it to gas controller value. The value of that will change from 0 to 7 depending on how far the trigger is pressed. The 2 input operator will take that number and multiply it by whatever the operand 2 number is then apply that velocity to the motor. I hope that wasn't confusing.

thats the best way to govern the motors. its worth remembering that the velocity multiplied by 0 (no control input) means that the motor will use all its force to bring rotation to 0.
to get the motor to act as a free wheel when you take your finger off the gas (instead of putting a second rotational hinge in) you should set the force data value to a separate 2 number operator so you can tune torque to rpm easily and the motor will behave as if it has a clutch. (kindof)
also, using the sticks in this way means you can get a negative number (down or left) and negative velocity means reverse. the only problem with the sticks is that they only have a range of +3 -3 so you get jumps in the velocity and force (not to mention only three tones and vibration settings for the engine noise.)
the settings for force and velocity are dependant on the strength of the joint and the weight of the vehicle so it would be impossible to give you an exact setting that is guaranteed. but generally speaking a strength 1 default motor multiplied by 100 is the right place to start.
stop me if i go on to much lol, but a good tip for vehicle building is to multiselect the hinges relevant to one wheel the select pivot and reset their position and you now have all pivots exactly in the same place and you can move them together. great for making adjustments.

I'm going to be releasing a pre version of my chopper. No weapons at the moment I have them built but I want to get people's opinion on the controls and feel of the chopper.
