I've tried to be a good community man for a few years now. I've made birthday cakes for Trials HD, I've done TV interviews, written articles, made wallpaper packs and made a video about the Trials Riddle. Like many of you, I do all of this because I love this game and the community that surrounds it. We don't ask for anything, we just want to spread the word about an amazing game.

What we are also spreading the word about are the awesome development team. It is clear from their quality games and community involvement that this company is made up a group of guys that truly care about the community and want to be involved. I've always had a great amount of respect for the dev team and have always said it would be awesome to get to meet them one day. Now my issue is that I live in Australia. We are a long way from Finland (15,000km or 9,500mi) so the chances of me getting the opportunity to travel half way round the world to meet my all time favourite game developers is quite slim...

So I nearly fell off my chair the day I found out that I was getting my dream. That's right, On Wednesday this week, I leave sunny Australia and fly for 24 hours (that's right - an entire day). I will be at the Redlynx offices in Helsinki at about 9am Thursday morning and I want to make it feel like you are all there with me.

I plan on being your man on the inside, and I'll do what I can to give you the scoop. What is in their fridge, who is a better wrestler out of Antti or I (best of us wrestles Jorma) and I'll even give them a taste of Aussie things that I bring with me. I am so happy to have this opportunity and I just wanted to share that with you. Let me know what I should do, what you would do or want to see... I'll do my best to make it happen.

Seriously guys, for a developer to allow me to do this is really amazing. I was excited to get to work with them on the other projects I have done and I am really looking forward to getting together with them. I have no idea what they have planned for me so it should be fun.

So in less than 48 hours, I'll be on my way! This is my Redlynx Pilgrimage and I look forward to sharing it with you all

Hi guys, well i made it safe and sound. i have only slept about 4 hours in the last 48 hours so a little crazy right now, but its 7pm in helsinki and i spent a fair part of this morning at the redlynx offices... it was interesting actually because while ive been chatting away on here for years, i dont actually know anyone. I kinda know ANBA because of all the work i did with him and maybe a few of the other guys, but that is internet friend 'knowing' someone which is very different in real life. But they were all very friendly as you would expect. i didnt do anything too much today because i was still dealing with the travel etc.. highlights so far was ANBA taking me out for lunch with Lee and a few others (still bad with names). Also when ANBA got to work, he opened the 6th floor window, got a trumpet and played it really loud... then he got a machine gun and was trying to load it (it was a NERF gun but like 5ft long).. then i got to play multiplayer with a bunco of dudes in the office so that was cool. as you will see on page 2 I bought a few things for the guys.. ANBAäs fav was of course the Kangaroo scrotum... he was rubbing it on everyone in the office

Man, I think thats it. im going to go back again tomorrow and hang out again and i think i was invited to something saturday but now i dont remember what it was.,. i just said yes?

finally, Helsinki is a beautiful place, just so mane awesome buildings and such.. and for those who said i would die of cold (shifty!).. i spent the entire day with a tshirt on... i went out this afternoon and didnt even bother to take a coat with me... you crazy people!

oh remind me to one day tell you all about the language here. i seriously have no idea man... like they use the correct letters, but just bash their face against the keyboard.. i mean no disrespect, but i cant understand a thing.. and unlike other langiuages, you cant even guess what it is. gtg.
