new track is freezing my machine now ive uploaded it...HELP! | Forums

Hi All, ive just finished a massive technical track called clouds island, every time i play it it freezes my machine, it doesnt freeze at the same place each time, the track is a race to get to the end by the 30min limit, so your playing for quite a while,so very anoying when it freezes at 18mins!! it wasnt doing that before i uploaded it, but now it crashes every go, has anyone else had similar issues with their tracks?, i hope its a redlynx problem and not a problem with the track as its huge and took ages to build? if one of you trials experts out there completes it without freezing your machine i would be greatful to hear about it, any info on know issues would be greatly appreciated also

update, after further testing it does appear now to be freezing at the same point everytime????????

If you have 22 checkpoints or more in your track, it will cause it to freeze. They are working on a fix for the next update.

cheers L3D Z, i uploaded a newer version and it still froze my machine (but only online, it allowed me to finish the track for uploading), sometimes it lets me past the freeze point, but if i commit a fault after that it freezes.
do you know if i get past the dreaded FREEZE obstacle on first go, if this will circumnavigate the glitch or will it freeze EVERYTIME regardless if theres over 22 checkpoints?
is there any timeframe on update release yet?

If your track has more than 22 checkpoints including start and finish then the track will freeze at finish line regardless. think there should be an actual limit in place so you cant have more than 22.

Ive seen some people having problems with reset to checkpoint/driving line tracks but no conclusive answer as to why.

Havent seen anything on timeframe for fix but as far as i can tell it will only be an enforced checkpoint limit so just limit yourself in meantime.
