    Weird Graphical Anomaly in editor

So, I've been working on a track and play testing it. Everything was fine yesterday. Today, I get into the game and begin play testing again and notice these weird graphical images. There are several lines that go across the screen from right to left. The faster the camera moves, the faster these lines form and sort of move across screen. I thought maybe by removing some lights that that would do the trick.. it didn't. it happens throughout the course of the entire track. It only happens in the editor but will happen while in test mode or otherwise. My complexity meter is just over half full - 60%. I know that my tv is fine as it doesn't happen while watching tv. I suppose I should try seeing if it happens in other games too. I haven't but will. I know it wasn't like this the other day and nothing had changed since then. I hadn't added anything else to the track. Just been playtesting. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I should add, that occasionally, while in the editor, my game will freeze. Could all of this be happening because of lack of HDD space? my HDD is a 120gig and I've only got about 10 or so gigs left. I've noticed that certain things on the xbox's menus take several seconds to load ie., the quickplay menu which is where I load Trials Evo.

Have you used Thick grass - Set (variation 1) in your track? It might be causing this. Remove or switch variation.

AHA! I knew the grass was the cause of the lag in my great track, causing everyone to give it bad ratings
    Damn grass.

Thanks, sipe, I have placed several pieces of grass and several variations of it. I'll reduce the amount and see if that changes anything.

I've seen this too -- thanks for clearing up the mystery as it was driving me bonkers. I went ahead and shared my track anyway, but at least I know for the future.

Will this be fixed in the future? And if so, will it be fixed for existing tracks that have already been shared?

So, it worked. I removed the grass altogether. The anomaly is gone. I'm wondering, now, if this will be fixed in a future update. I noticed that it's ok to place a few pieces of grass and not get the anomaly but placing several results in the anomaly.

My problem is that I made a huge track, and that darned grass could be anywhere!

Well, well... this happened to me last night and sure enough I had put numerous grass objects down. It looks a bit like a laser show if you get the right angle. Will change this later and hopefully should fix the issue...

I was just having this exact problem myself. I deleted loads of obstacles, trees, fires, water puddles, custom cameras in the hope I could get rid of these flickering lines! Then I come here and it's the thick grass this whole time. I recorded a video and everything - thanks for the solution. Time to cut the grass.
