Redlynx should add caracters with the ability to walk, run, jump and crawl thats the only thing missing to the editor to make it better than Little Big Planet...
wouldn't be great to jump off our bike to then continue walking and running and jumping to obstacles.....
pretty sure it is possible, to make characters that move i mean, look at the huge robot in that video, it must be possible to replicate in the trials editor, whether or not itd work as well is another issue.
but really, they are two entirely different genres, so.....get both!
First it's not available on Xbox 360 and anyway the style and look of Little Big Planet is too childish but the editor abilities on Trials Evolution editor would be great and skill games with characters that could walk,run,jump would be very cool...!
I was thinking about this, too. Would be pretty great if they added in some rider physics (even if it just meant a very basic walking animation/standing stance) so we could have a fairly intuitive experience on or off the bike. Of course the game would still focus on trials riding, but obviously the skill games aren't all about that. It would be cool to make some platforming games with bike parts included, and a little bit of rider parkour thrown in, haha.
Yap...That's exaclly how i sees it, Skill Games would be amazing and i don't think it's very hard for Redlynx to add those caracteristics to the editor on a soon DLC.
They could only add 5 different caracters style ( more than one for creativity option..) and when we edit a skill game we could add one of those special rider to either switch on and off the bike within a track to pass from a trial track to a Parkour obstacle or only a Parkour track where we would have to walk around in side scroll or in third person and run, jump, crawl and climb our way up to finish line....!
Trials Evolution would be then not only perfect but exeptional..!
remenber my friend....that's only for skill games....in skill game there is already canon, swiming, flying, buggies, rockcrawlers, basketball, bowling, pinball...etc...! AND THOSE HAVE NOTING TO DO WITH TRIAL.....
Trust me my friend it would be veeeery cool...! to get off our bike in a skill game and run,jump and climb in a obstacle parkour...!
I sure it wouldn't be too hard to make a character out of boxes and barrels, make him the controllable object and set some triggers so that his shape changes when you press certain buttons. Then you'd have to add jumping and walking controls etc.
You could set the camera a little futher back and make it a platformer.
we could be able to make some very cool side scrolling or third person skill games but even more...
Picture this my friend......
You start by riding a bike on a very cool trial track and after a while you end up in front of a 6 foot brick wall....no way to jump over it or break it...you are stock BUT....then you press '' Y '' and suddenlly your character explode up....you press right with the joystick to control the character to go over the wall and fall down on the other side of the wall '' ON HIS FEET..! ''
Then you continue runing, jumping and climbing on obstacles made by all we alredy have available in the editor...maybe even up in a montain to reach the top and then take a ZIPLINE to another platform, continue there to go higher and then at the sumit, you take the deltaplane and fly down throw fire gates in the sky to the finish line...!
There could be thousands of combinasion we could do and then only our imagination will be the limites of the game...!
