Having created a few tracks, I find my download count for each of them going up extremely slowly. After thinking about it, how can people stumble upon it if it's not one of the highest rated or the most downloaded? Is it impossible? Seems to me like the only way would be for people to go and search under my gamertag, and I'm sure 80%+ of you (no hard feelings) don't like doing that rather than just going under one of the other categories and downloading from there.
I think it'd be nice to have a "all trials" category or at least something that gets all of these peoples tracks out there for more than the first 15 minutes after release.

You should have seen how we got exposure for our tracks before.
With Trials HD there was no Track Central and only your XBL friends could get your tracks. There was a ton of forum advertising, and YouTube videos, and even then reaching 300 downloads was amazing. TrialsHD.net helped you see tracks from other people (if they posted a video link) but you still had to be XBL friends to get them.
Track Central allows everyone to download your tracks, if they know your gamer tag, but you will still need to do a little self-promotion to get those 5 digit, or more, download numbers.

I really hope it will be expanded to show ALL tracks on Track Central. If not possible, at least greatly expanded to 500-1000+ 50 is nothing, and your track is visible for 30 mins if you're lucky. A skill game is longer, but not by much.

I meant to post "4 digit" but 5 works just as well.
It just seems like nobody wants to go through the hassle of going through search and typing in gamertags and then finding the track you want them to try. I mean, I started promoting mine yesterday and as popular as this game is right now it doesn't seem like people like searching under gamertags. I mean why take 5 minutes and search for one track when you can just go to "New Trials" or "Highest Rated" and download many tracks at once.
I'm not saying all of this because my track alone isn't getting many downloads, I'm saying it because I'm sure many people feel the same way about having others find their track.

what i do for now...instead of searching THE GOOD MAP lost in the crappy things...
be friends whit good track creator...and wait theme to MP you for new awesome thing ! (and there name are list in your search "tag".)
hopping that TC will be better some day.
better then it was...but put 60 hours on a map and be 5min. on board... arf...

My 2 tracks have under 400 downloads. I don't make tracks for "everyone", I make them for my friends and the people in the Trials Evolution community.
Most people won't see a single track, it's not possible. It's also not possible for every track to be highlighted in RedLynx Picks.
I would be willing to bet, as I don't have numbers, that there are already well over 50,000 tracks on Track Central. It's really hard to showcase so much content in the 2 weeks since Evolution has released.

How about a new category: "Grab Bag"
It's essentially just a randomly generated list of tracks. No guarantees it will solve the "Nobody has seen my tracks" problem, but it would at least make it easier to stir the pot a little, so to speak.
