+1 to eflixxx. Last drop has kept me from crossing the line on every run lol. Once I can finally nail it, it'll be a 5* from me. Really enjoyed your work lately. And any idea if/when we'll see a Voltron track?
Kush, Morfy, Eflixxx, Cheez - thanks for the feedback guys!

Question..:- do you build your tracks sort of 3 at a time and then release, or r u banging out this quality every couple of days???
(Seriously,im interested to know)).thnx..![]()
When I first played this track, I thought it was pretty good but the more I played it, the more I liked it! My initial impression was that it's a 4* track but after playing it several times, I noticed how brilliant and fun the drive line really is. 5* material for sure.
My only complaints are that sometimes the hanging lanterns can block your rider at inconvenient times. This was really only a problem with my first couple of runs and afterwards, I became used to it but I can see how it could negatively affect the overall rating. I also have grown to hate the final drop lol. It has ruined a few good runs of mine. I had a good 3.5 second lead over my best time only to faceplant near the end!
Good to hear. Shame the rest quit but I'm glad you 2 are sticking with trials.Originally Posted by MurdocLoch![]()
It varies - there is a few different modes I get into when track buildingOriginally Posted by Morfyboy
The first is serious track making and these tracks take several weeks or months to make (Brass Tacks, One Man's Trash, Seasick, new Voltron map in progress)
The second is Ninja track making, which is mostly playtesting for the line - once that's done depending on how hard the track is, or how many people i think could play it - I usually just half *** the detail cause the harder it is the less people will be playing it so usually 3-5 days for a ninja track (Obsolescent, Dirt In The Ground, Cough & Cringe, Cauterized, Hot To Trot)
The third is lazy track making - sometimes I just feel like kicking back and making something real quick - usually does not have many custom pieces and uses a lot of saved to favorites details - usually about 1-3 days for a lazy track (Wince & Wheeze, Sliced Bread, Glitter & Doom, Bend Down The Branches)
The last one is short track and skill game making - this is like lazy track making only I spend about 8 hours or less and from start to finish it's done in one day (MONO, Pool Party,
High Jump, Long Jump)
so to answer your question about the recent streak of track - I started working on seasick the week evo came out and took many large breaks - once we got the new pieces I was inspired to start working on it again and worked on it everyday for a week and a half - then I made mono in one day- hot to trot in two days and bend down the branches in three
Appreciate the detailed reply..its interesting to see how others build i think..it also seems like the great tracks are works that need to be broke away from,as to no ruin it..a bit in comparison to a painter..seasick for me is my fav for sure..im a gluuten for detail and i think you used these elements to the best of there ability...the track actually feels as if your being blown back towards the start checkpoint..that monsoon effect,IMO, wont get used better by a creator although id like to be proved wrong..
also, not being a ninja rider, and just about mange extremes at the moment,i do play yours..
Thnx for the reply, a lesson learnt i feel..![]()
I didn't mean to sound so negative with my post actually, Seasick was really an incredible track. I played Hot to Trot after as well and that is also amazing (tried for less than the 8 faults I got but I got up to the last obstacle with 0 faults like two times then totally f'd it). You make by far some of the best tracks on Evo.Originally Posted by MurdocLoch
I still believe that if RedLynx were to make a ninja-difficulty track then Cough'n'Cringe would basically have been what they made.
BTW, Skum quit Trials?![]()
This is something i was interested in too this explains why Bend the Bracnches was lacking detail and had some performance issues and light issues and why Seasick had extremely few problems.Originally Posted by MurdocLoch
