the console freeze is only happening to me while im also in a party chat at the same time as playing the game... it doesn't happen at all when i am playing with in-game voice... and it don't happen that often...

320 gb hd gears of war 3 edition, and triton headset is my only optional item... i posted earlier in this thread but i play alot of trials... 1st and 2nd and i was testing out my theory all day yesterday...

1. What game mode was active and what actions did you perform just before the console freezed?
2. Do you encounter this issue every time you do the same action, or was this just a random occurrance?
3. Include the model of your Xbox. Please also list all optional hardware connected to the Xbox (hard drive type, kinect, USB sticks, third party controllers, etc).

1. In the pro editor, tried to glue 2 objects together but clicked on game camera view target in front of rider by accident as one of the glue members then tried to undo this and it froze
2. Gave it another go doing same actions (just to test it to report on here, i didnt mean to do it in the first place) same result console freeze
3.xbox 360 slim 4gb internal with a 240gb hard drive addin internal, nothing but controllers/headsets/chatpad plugged in everything microsoft official

Single player demo on Xbox, D liscence or whatever the very first single-player level is, the game either freezes up after one of the play-tips appear or it freezes during the load screen for the next level. It does this EVERY time I've played and I've tried at least a dozen times. This is so ridiculously messed up that it almost seems like some sort of joke or something. This game looks realy cool and seems like a lot of fun but there is absolutey now way I would buy it and I tell everyone who listens that they should play the heck out of the demo before purchasing the game, just to make sure. In over 30 years of gaming I've never seen a game that is 100% unplayable for me.
Standard Xbox with standard controller and 250 GB hard drive. Also has an adapter for Turtle Beach headphones hooked up but I wasn't using them.

My editor freezes all the time, mostly when selecting multiple objects.

It recently just froze and I lost my entire track. I went to "destruction" on building properties, when I had about 20 blocks or so in the selection.

Sometimes I will select more than 10 or so objects at once, and it brings me to the other side of the world. Is there a limit to the amount of objects you can "Select" at once? I think this is a big part of the problem with the freezes.

Well, I have seen freezing in multiplayer but my concern is with the editor.. Everytime I attempt to add a new object to a saved track the game locks up, forcing system restart and this is a HUGE drag. Whats the editor without creation?? Now I have multiple unfinished tracks saved, but I hope this is not the reason. Whats going on? Id have finished them all by now.. So bummed out.

Hey sebbi,i want to add to my earlier post that mine freezes alot in mutiplayer,and also in the editor when i press RB or LB to pan to another location.. just letting you know when its happening..thnx

1. I had the xbox freeze twice on me while using the pro editor. Both times were towards the end of the track, where there was a lot of physics objects in the tracks, a lot going on in the screen.


2. One of the times it happened while making a seed building. I had a bunch of blocks selected and hit "y" to make the whole building grow 1 block higher. I changed my mind and hit "x" to undo it, thats when it froze.
The other time it happened, I had a bunch of objects with the physics turned on. I added a box with the physics turned on, it was set up so it was going to fall over a ledge. I hit the back button to see how it would play out, and it froze.

3. I have an older fat version of xbox with 2 usb memory cards, 250 gb hard drive, and kinect.

Playing custom maps or regular maps in private race session it freezes someone out at least once in every ten races. It can happen to host or players. It also freezes when trying to view leaderboards for custom tracks I have not yet downloaded every single time. I like to check the LB`s to make sure the track is playable. Also during the select race in MP sometimes it comes up with corrupt.
I use an elite with 120 gig HDD with no kinect or usb`s.
Apart from that top game.
