I have had it happen about 10 times so far, I will keep better track of them from now on, if it happens again. I have only experienced the complete freeze in the editor and (this is just a feeling but based on hours spend) it seems to happen when I don't save. It hasn't happened in a while now and it started happening less if I saved which I was doing more to prevent hours of works dissapearing on me. I do know it always happened after a while and mostly after intense use. It happened online and offline and I have a black 250 (new make) xbox with just one controller (official silver - new make) hooked up by a play and charge kit (all official microsoft material). I blamed it on intense use every time because I have never had it freeze when I was just fooling around, most of the time I would be building stuff I already had on paper so I was going as fast as you can place stuff. And because I was working off paper I would normally only save when I finished what I had on paper. I found that if I did it all againhad to because it wasn't saved) and saved more often I could do the exact same build without my console freezing. I haven't had it freeze for about 6 days now, that's when I started my saving tactics. I also started keeping double saves because of this problem, don't know if that did anything, I do make sure I make both save at the same time and I use the last save as my build site so I change files/names every save. Long story short, since I started saving I haven't had the problem and before that only after at least an hour of building as fast as you can of a blueprint. the editor has a lot of info to load, i would let the editor sit for a couple of minutes or bounce between locations until you see all textures and objects set, then hopefully you should be able to edit normally, it takes the editor on mine about 30seconds to settle, but maybe longer for the newer xbox, maybe because they have more memory to load into.Originally Posted by ARMUSARANI have had it happen about 10 times so far, I will keep better track of them from now on, if it happens again. I have had it freeze for one second or two about 9 or 10 times.
I have had it completely freeze my xbox about 3 times. Once today.
I think it has to do with a ton of info trying to be loaded. I dont mind it too much tbh.

Hey guys,mine froze like crazy tonight.at least 6-8 times an hour..it happened when i was playing custom tracks and in the game itself,so i wasnt choosie all.its happened the last two nights now..

I've had quite a few freezes now, first on my old Xbox and now on my new one. It really seems to be the game that freezes because the loading icon still rotates. When i press the navigator button on the controller I can hear the sound, so something is running. It has never happened during gameplay, only in the menu's. Usually when I press Play track or sometimes during searches or other network related activity (high scores, downloading maps).
Another thing I'd like to point out is that the menu animations sometimes lag. E.g things not completely fading out (trible background persisted during gameplay) or not scaling (text layer is zoomed in).

4-7-2012 1:49 A.M. Dutch time I was in an xbox live party with one friend playing a multi-player game on an un-finished and un-shared track for testing. I had only saved that game minutes before (thank the stars) and we we're just talking and the game was still running. It must have been at least 5 minutes in when my friend had to leave (4th of July) and left the party. Wether he switched his xbox off or left the party before that I don't know but I do know that as soon as he left my xbox froze. No big button, no nothin'. First time it happened in at least 2 weeks thoughand after I just saved (so no damage) but never pleasant. Hope this helps in a way.

I was just about to play a custom track, i went into the leaderboards 1st, it wouldnt load with i found strange, so i hit play track, it srarted to load and then it crashed. dont know if it helps but the track was > Thermal Power Plant <
This was a random event, 1st time like this.

My xbox keeps on freezing ( 4 times in a row )
3 time trying to view the leaderboards on my tracks and once trying to get tracks...wtf (whens this going to get sorted)

i frequently get console freezes when i start the pro editor, load my level, press up to bring up the menus, and then select a subcategory. the game freezes before it has loaded the first item in whatever category i had highlighted at the time.
recently i have been loading a couple of different levels before loading the one i actually wanted to work on and this has been working out ok so far.
before this though it was almost at the point where it would crash my console about 80 percent of the time though. causing much frustration.
my console is a 240 gb slim

My Xbox freezes every time I try to play custom tracks. S 250GB HDD with Kinect.
Edit: It is now working fine.
