    console froze up during hardcore trials MP matchmaking. xbox wouldnt turn off, i had to turn off from mains.

    turned back on, everything seems working!

    Xbox 360 Slim. 250gb. nothing connected to it, except controller.

    multi player freezes, when hosting a public match with friends, after 3 or more goes, it sometimes kicks friend/s out...
    and it also freezes only after switching your machine off..can you re-join your friends, this is happing to me and all my friends
    my console is brand new
    mat-black with the black shiny edging with 250 hard drive, working with Wired microsoft pad, console is not on a wireless network,
    useing turtle beach headphones wired. not wireless.. no usb extras plugged in, hard drive checked and cleaned every few months
    so always up to date...

    other bugs seen
    graphic problems..looks like lazer lights coming towards you..i have it on one of my tracks called "War of the Worlds"
    i was told this maybe something to do with the skyline, mmmmm not sure as i tried it on other skylines, and same
    effect...i have asked other gamers they also get the same problem with there tracks !
    then i was told it was because of all the yellow effect boxes for triggers "please note i have not check this out" due to all the triggers
    running in war of the worlds builds as its got a lot of fx work...

    "RedLynx" great work on the new Trails Evolution i love it....but hope for a patch soon for them issures ^^^

    Please include the following information in your report:
    1. What game mode was active and what actions did you perform just before the console freezed?
    Public Multiplayer Matchmaking: 10-15% of searches result in a long pause while finding players, once backed out and searching again a crash can occur (party chat may still work but unresponsive xbox). I have reduced these occurrences by hitting the x button to quit after every completed event and then waiting for the ping bar in top right to reappear before searching for matches again. This has also reduced occurrences of de-ranking.

    A random amount 05-15% maybe of active multiplayer events crash between race selection, one track will be completed and next will be loading, seems to occur more if I click the A button to signify ready, I now tend to not even use the A button to select my bike but I may just be getting paranoid O_o

    I've given up searching public race with a friend in the lobby as this has a high possibility of crashing one of the party or dropping them from lobby regularly, easier just to search singleplayer.

    Private Multiplayer: I regularly test unpublished tracks with friends, If there are four in the lobby I would approximate there is a 10-15% chance that one person will get dropped from the lobby when the host starts the match (not generally resulting in crash but occaisionally). I would also approximate that there is a 5-10% chance starting match will result in the host crashing, particularly if there is more than one map in the track selection. Whilst private multiplayer racing there is a 20%-chance that one or more players will get dropped from an event during track loading or as the countdown of the next race is waiting to start. 1 or 2 track events seem more stable and are less frustrating if they do crash.

    Backing out of the track selection screen or multiplayer search option screen quickly and then clicking back in quickly and searching or starting event immediately has resulted in crashes, non responsive xbox (can be powered off at console but no guide button)

    A couple of crashes when loading custom leaderboards/replays of tracks I don't have, not a regular problem and may just be down to random timings of overall crashes.

    2. Do you encounter this issue every time you do the same action, or was this just a random occurrance?
    The track loading and lobby stability issues appear to occur at random to a selection of people in the lobby or party with no definitive action from the affected person. The quick back-out and rejoin of lobbies will create a problem most times i've re-created it but I've not been re-creating it recently as I don't like crashing.

    3. Include the model of your Xbox. Please also list all optional hardware connected to the Xbox (hard drive type, kinect, USB sticks, third party controllers, etc).
    Console:120gb Elite
    Connections: Play&charge cable connected to controller, external media hard drive 320gb seagate (turned off)

    4.Did you have custom soudtracks playing? No, Ingame soundtracks are on but at very low volume.

    With such an epic expansive game I'm not surprised there are some issues! Keep up the good work

    3 Freezes of the console tonight. All were in the multiplayer in private matches. Does not seem to matter which track. In one freeze, the console refused to respond at all with no input at all. This happened on Gigatrack. On the last freeze, there were three players in a private party (xbox live) following the freeze, the party remained active, and we could chat. Interestingly, all three players had frozen consoles at the same time which would seem to indicate that the issue is somehow related to online play. (Possibly server overload? - complete guess here ). Played Gigatrack again with no issue shortly after. One pet peeve on that (unrelated), looks like track times on private matches are not counted as ranked. Too bad, I ran a pretty good race that time

    Details: Xbox 360 Slim (250 GB), Kinect, Play and charge cable connected and charging at the time.

    So far I have lost over 12 hours of work in the editor through a variety of crashes, I will try to list the ones I can remember below however point 3 is the same in them all so I will list that first;

    3. Elite 250GB, Geotech EX-OS headphones (connects to USB), USB stick formatted for xbox used for profile/saves etc.

    A) - What I believe to be the standard checkpoint issue so no need to go into it.

    B) - Editor - Random/ haven't tried to reproduce.
    I have what is basically a powered 3 car train, 2 sets of wheels on a rotational hinge connected to each Bogie, 2 Bogies per cart, front ones powered through rotational hinges on wheels. Bogies are connect to the base of the cart via another rotational hinge to allow them to turn. Each carts 'load' is connected to the base of the relevant cart using a Slider Physics Joint, each carts load is a combination of objects glued together. Finally each cart was connected to the ones by it via spring hinges. Bogies are glued to driving line, nothing else is though.

    At this stage everything is fine, though when the whole trains has physics activated there is noticeable lag, at a guess halving the FPS. I had just put the last carts load onto the front cart, via the slider physics joint, test had it working as normal (with the lag.)

    The bottom side of the load needed some additions as it was too high up at the back. I had 4 objects glued together to get the shape I needed and had positioned it roughly into place (one set for each side of the cart), it would have been in collision with at least the load, possibly the Cart Base as well.

    It is worth noting that I think the issue came from the fact that it was now between the physics joint connecting the existing load to the Cart Base, it hadn't been attached to anything and physics had not been turned on for the new object combo yet it was colliding with possibly both sided of the physics joint.. The instant I activated editor physics the console hard locked.

    Edit: I tried to reproduce this crash t was what caused me to come on here), I haven't been able to reproduce it, however I cannot exactly reproduce the conditions. Whilst I had saved the 'load' to my favorites, any had reconnected it exactly to the Cart Base, I had to remake the new object, any am unsure of their exact positioning.

    Though as I move their positioning the result on the train varies, some instances are more 'violent' in their reaction and the longer it is left to run the more violent the reactions between parts are. I am guessing it is the rejection force from the collided parts 'fighting' against the physics joints that are working to keep parts together and/or the force keeping the Bogies trying to stay on the driving line (though they do overcome this force briefly as the front cart manages to spin around the load on the Z axis as well as the X axis.)

    The Maximum amount of Physics contacts has exceeded warning message appears after about ten seconds, the back two sections of carts are spinning uncontrollably themselves, then also being spun around the front cart section. They are going through the ground as they spin, in this specific test the load is moving slightly on the spot (it is collided with the new objects) whilst its Cart base is spinning on several axis and spinning around the load.

    C) Editor (Edit and Test mode) - Repeatable
    First of all I do have to say that this area shows some definite slow down whilst trying to edit in it (even without physics activated), however whilst the game is running/testing as standard (Whilst in the area normally, without a certain triggered event(s) happening) there are no slow down issues at all. The reason for this lag whilst editing is that there are over 1000 filters/event/triggers/data source in the area, there are approximately 5000 connections between these filters etc. When the game is trying to visualise all of the connections with animated arrows it struggles (Suggestion that an option for still arrows could help performance here.)

    So at this stage, playing is fine and the editor is slow. When a specific sequence of events is triggered there is a fair amount of lag in game too. There is a stack of plastic boxes making a 16x16 grid, each box has been coloured using a Colour Event, when the sequence starts it runs through a delay for each section listed below;

    - Lighting event triggered repeatedly for a few seconds via a few paths (erratic strobing), sounds event triggered.
    - 2(4) Effect Events triggered (impulse split, half delayed, both to toggle effect event.) Effects are massive fire and large sparks.
    - As Effects are turned off 24 of the crates in the grid have physics activated (Lag starts)
    - 2.5 second delay and physics are turned off on the crates (Lag stops)
    ..............

    Now the repeatable crash happens when I add in a real C4 explosion next to the crates just after believe 1 tick) the crates physics is activated. It is presumably too much for it too handle when so many physics objects are given a high explosive velocity especially when is such close quarters to each other (1 tick earlier they were more than likely slightly colliding/overlapped with each other to some small extent or another and so probably still are at this point.)

    Whilst there have been other crashes, these are the two that I can document properly for you. My serious apologies for such a huge wall of text, it seemed pretty pointless to not detail as much potentially important information as I could.

    disconnect from xbox live lastnight after playing Trails evolution
    was in a party of 2, and in editor mode

    ? anyone know if they had switched a server offline or anything else
    because everytime i put trails in, it disconnect me !

    Yes on my track i built that freezes i do have a custom playlist on from the game. But i also have over 20 checkpoints too...
